I hate when that happens.......
Re: 1/18 ish PT Boat
looks like the Dumas PT boat. It's 1/20 or 1/32, they make two sizes of models. If it was about 4 feet long it's the 1/20. Kits are around $350 iirc.

That thing is pretty sweet. I think I've seen an r/c PT boat about that size before, wonder if its the same kit or something different.

There is a Dumas kit available for $130 on sale now if that boat is your cup of tea. It is 78" and 1/30.

i think the 1/20 PT boat kit is out of production now. You can find them from time to time on ebay.

Thanks TTT!, 1:30 is a little small for what I was thinking.

Re: 1/18 ish PT Boat
PT and gunboats are high on my favorites list. I prefer the late WW2 PTs where they mounted a 40mm gun on the rear deck and mortors mid deck and the 37mm Aircibra aircraft gun on the front deck. Just awesome.
And, of course Brit Vosper gun boats, and of course German E-Boats, and.... and....
Sorry, I got carried away.....

Didn't boardmember RED have one of the 1:20-ish PT Boats? From his pictures, it looked pretty good with 1;18 figures on it.
There was another company besides Dumas that made them as well, but I forget the name at the moment. Seems to me that several years ago, there was a plastic pre-assembled R/C version that was about 1:20 scale.

yes that's right. Red's was 1/24 scale......i'd forgotten about that. Probably still pictures of it in the Customs forum.
