Custom 1:18 German *Something* on ebay
Does anyone know what this is?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-1-18-sca ... 1c2b5931aa
Is it really a custom? Looks extremely professional. Or is it a customized version of something mass produced.
Is it based on a real piece of armor?
I think it's cool and I've never seen anything like it......any info anyone?

Does look interesting and the Germans had cars and fighting vehicles with 6 wheels that could be this "something" but the over height turret looks very GI Joeish and out of scale for a real fighting vehicle.
I like the basic vehicle, nice work, it is like mounting a 2cm cannon on a Jeep. It could be done, but why?

It reminds me of a mix of different WWiII era Soviet armoured cars with turret mounted weapons . It a spare tire mounted on the back like a 2 axle BA-64 AC but has 3 axles like a BA-10 AC

That weapon looks very laser cannon-ish. From the side view the whole thing looks more futuristic than WWII but I don't claim to know my Soviet armored cars very well.

It kind of reminds me of the Russian BTR 152.....
but the ebay item is a custom fantasy DAK vehicle.

I can not believe it has 4 bids on it up to $137

This proofs that German armor always outsell anything else.Even GI Joe.
And is not even real German.
The 1/18 scale it's still alive while Chinese company's like lanard and chap mei keep making all this. I wish they will remake the wespe. I never had the chance to get one.

As soon as I saw the picture I knew it was the A-Team vehicle from back in the 1980's. It was originally black. I have one in the shed, but after seeing this auction...

An A*Team vintage car!?!?!
That's awesome//hilarious.
And yet, the turrets are completely different (though the body of the car itself is obviously identical.)
I wonder how that happened......and where the "german" top came from....

I always wondered how that A-team armored car would look with a new paint job. It might be worth finding one to pick up.29thLetsGoJoe wrote:As soon as I saw the picture I knew it was the A-Team vehicle from back in the 1980's. It was originally black.
