Your man cave looks like a school room.

Used to be a daycare next door to my office. It went out of business and bought the building. Half of the building was made for storage and the rest was "mancave"

That's an awesome dispaly area - great place to keep all your things out at once. Just cool to look at and see all the different planes ...and the railway gun!

BTW, the F-18 is pretty awesome as well

Very impressive collection, where are your tanks? If you have a railway gun, tanks can't be far away. Another room? 8)

Excellent collection, P47fan. 8)

Great to see it all out at the same time, and I remember that awesome railway gun.

Would have preferred a more standard "Sidewinders" scheme, but just glad another 1/18 Hornet has been done.

The Sidewinders itself is pretty cool. The real story however is that room and that collection. I'm very jealous but I have to thank you because I have yet another photo to remind my girl that my collection is reasonable.

The Dora is 1/35 scale. Since 1/18 pretty well dried up, I got into 1/35 scale and started this 1/35 Dora dio. I've been working on it for proabably 4 years now. There is a "work in progress" that I posted as I have come along on the diorama but it is on a 1/35 scale forum. I don't know if the moderator of Small Scale Military Headquarters would want the URL posted. Lots of other stuff including some 1/6 tanks etc. I was briefly into but too much stuff to fit into a couple photos. I think my wife is just happy not to have all of this stuff in the house!

BBI does exceptional work... Great looking plane!

As impressive as your collection is, it stresses me out that there are planes on the floor.
How do you get across the room without tripping on one?

I remember seeing that in a post some time ago.

Found it... It looks like a an MG-42 next to a Bren :)

Is the landing gear solid or rubbery? I would love to see some close up pics.

Yes, it is indeed a mg42. The bren is an actual 1941 bren which has been deactivated. I always wonder what that bren has seen. Right after all the equipment losses after Dunkirk I imagine it was in very high demand! The floor where the planes sit is off limits to anyone especially my ten year old who is in the picture although I did find a Lego Darth Vader piloting one of the F-86's and I am VERY sure i didn't put it there:).
