German 88

Post by Long Time Luker » Wed Jul 11, 2012 1:14 pm

Hi everyone!

As my name suggest, I've been lurking here a long while. Generally didn't post for various reasons, however, I do remember the excitment over the 88.

So I'm surfing one day and found this

http://www.militaryissue.com/product_in ... n-Aviation

Don't know where they got 'em, but I can't imagine they'll last

HAve at 'em :)

Welcome! and thanks for posting. I think many collectors wanted the gray
version of the 88 over the DAK one, it would have been series II but that's
when 21st fell apart. I do like it but I may repaint one of DAK 88's.
Thanks for the heads up.

Welcome to the forum!. :)
I have this version, you will find it is a re-paint of the DAK one.
DAK tan in the hard to paint places beneath the gray.
Maybe the Series I did not sell that well and they re-painted
their left over stocks.
$100 is a bit pricey as you can find them for $60-$70 at online retailers and EvilPay.

I bought this version. My guess is that this will be more limited than the Dak version. My only complaint is that the panzer gray color is really dark.Other than that it is worth getting specially if you have a lot of armor and support vehicles in panzer gray.
