Does anybody have one of these? They seem to be rare as I have never seen one. I like the OD paint scheme. Is that what the actual helicopter looks like?

I have one, gliderdwm - still in the box. Picked it up at TRU when they were released, in what, 2003 or 2004? Looks just like the image in the link. Exact same tooling as the S1 version, just OD paint instead of black.

I have one as well that I also got at TRU around late 2004, I want to say. Exactly the same as the original black version. Its a nice helicopter with different display options that include either TOW missile launchers or removing the side doors to attach the boom and rocket pods. Unfortunantly no miniguns.

Gliderdwm, you're not alone looking for an OD green MH-6... Would be glad to trade one of my 2 black MH-6 with the green one.

Aferg, I've seen one OD green not a long time ago, it is really the same tooling as for the black MH-6. Nothing to do with the later Nightstalker version: it has 4 doors, the same 2 multi-rocket launchers and 2 pods for guided anti-tank missiles, and no 3rd class seats outside. So, the SSHQ-Database is right. I've just noticed that the 7-rockets launcherpod is smaller (about 70%) than the one made for the Kiowa.

there is at least 3 different tooling of the AH/MH6 from BBI

- one (in black or OD green) with the pod, the front doors and the back doors you can replace with the rocket launcher,

- one (at least in OD green) without the pod, with front doors, no back doors (not sure I may lost them) and with rocket launcher

- the last, the nightstalker without the pod, doors and rockets but with the outside seat

The black, and the actually more brown version are 100% the same.
The newer "Death from Above" Black one is the only one with differences in molding.

Yes the "first" release exist in black and OD/brown, but it exists a small variant:
first tooling with the "death from above" canopy (rivet, no pod, no antenna... see pics)

So the OD or brown version is the same tooling as 21185 - Series 1 - AH-6 - Little Bird - Recon but much rare or harder to find. I have 2 of the 21185 in the BBI blue box and also the newer series 3 in the night stalker version which is common.

This one went from 16.00 to 71.00 in the final seconds. Looks to be the OD version. I tried but didnt win.

That model is really not of an MH-6 at all, but of a Hughes MD500 TOW Defender. It is from the same airframe family as the MH-6 series, but has different propulsion and equipment. It was never adopted by the U.S. military but was exported. Scroll down this page for a bunch of photos of Israeli ones.

So, to answer the question, no, the paint scheme is not authentic. The final Little Bird that BBI put out, with the benches on the sides, is the only one that is pretty close to the Night Stalkers aircraft.

Thats not worth $300, even if it is rare! I have the same helo which has been in storage for a while. Funny that little thing I bought for $20 at TRU back in the day is worth as much as it is.

Well, I've just bought one very pricy BBI OD green MH-6 little bird, the one I was looking for during months. But 2-3 days later, board member aviatornut set the same for bidding on eBay at a much cheaper price  , so if somebody's still looking for it...

Hello Granch,
you must have bought the one from the link I posted above . 189.00 is a bit too much but if you really wanted it and can afford it be happy with it.

Has anyone noticed the serial number (12830) is the same on both the Green Littlebird and the Nightstalker variants :P

tmanthegreat, I KNOW that they all have the same number 12830  Damned, BBI could have spent only a few cents more to change that!
It's why I've decided to change, but my elementary white line decals for the night stalker (12831 and 12837) flew away. So, for the next time, I'm only going to correct the numbers on the pictures with moving some pixels. Otherwise, it's difficult to find the matching colour to get the specific grey for the black MH-6 numbers or the original OD green for the fuselage background.
For the Blackhawk #24750 , BBI changed the number only for the Pave Hawk, but it's again the same 24750 on the nightstalker MH-60... :x

Gliderdown, thank you for cheering me up...
