This is very cool, but why is this in a mall? looks out of place.

Funny....I live right next door and never saw this before. La Gran Plaz Mall is the old "Seminary Mall" and is located in the I-35/Seminary exit corridor in south central Fort Worth. I'll try and find out more as to the "why?" but no promises.

I asked if the display was part of a larger decorative theme going on at the mall but have not heard back yet. It may just be that a mall design person was given some discretion, i.e. "fill up this space with something cool".
