Source for correct thickness 1/18 aircraft tires?

Hi guys,

Many of you know that some, not all, of the 1/18 legacy planes have tires that are too thin to scale. This may be because thicker tires may not fit retracted into the wheel wells, or the designers just goofed.

Either case, does anyone have any suggestions for F4U or P-47 tire replacements?
