That's new competition for FOV's 1/16 Tiger I repaint. It's going to be interesting to see the price compared to FOV's.
I assume Merit's tanks are plastic.

As for the 1/18 airplane, I think it's going to be real popular in the movies.

Its cloaking technology allows you to bring it in the house without the wife saying "another one?"

I wondered if Merit was now distributing FOV which might account for the new 1/16 Tiger I....but there's no info on Merit connected to FOV, so it appears there might be two competing 1/16 Tiger Is soon.
Assuming Merit's 1/16 tanks are plastic, the price difference compared to FOV's diecast 1/16 tanks will be interesting.

Well, the shows over, you would think that Jim@Merit would let us in on the new plane and 1/16 armor surprises now :?

I would have him rather not post, than to let us all wonder about nothing as it seems

i'm sure we'll find out eventually. :)

the member in the 32nd forum went on saturday and saw nothing new. The new 1/18 plane was probably shown sunday.

I'm surprised that somebody, on either here or the F118th hasn't found out what it is at least.

any of toy sites coverd the Chicago show?

All we on the 18th have found so far is a couple of shots of the 1:16 Tiger I. Looks like a static display model, the placard said it was serving in the Kurland. Due in December.

There were some shots at Peagus' booth, but no sign of a Komet.

i just checked youtube. A couple of clips of the show. Mostly trains and r/c cars shown. One quick glimpse of the Pegasus booth; bell x-1 and v-1 only. I would specualte it's not a komet yet. So that leaves either the J-11 or something totally new (or the black hawk redo :) ).

The videos may have been done before the new plane was shown however.
