1:18 Pak 36 kit - Box shot

Post by grunt1 » Sun Oct 16, 2011 11:06 am

It was a long time coming, but it is finally done. :-)

The dunkelgelb one is headed to the paint shop along with the R200 in the next few days for a camo job. I'm having a hard time finding example photos as it looks like a lot of the Pak 36's were phased out or simply left in german gray and upgraded with the stielgranate 41 by the time that the tri-color became standard.

These are for sale now direct. You can buy them from Battleground Toys via Shapeways at http://www.shapeways.com/shops/battlegroundtoys

Or send me a PM. If you PM me, I will include the hitch pin, axle and screws for the same price as Shapeways.

I only have 5 available via PM.

Interesting. I found it on shapways about a week ago and ordered one. it shipped two days ago. won't be able to see it for a couple of more months (I'm in Afghanistan right now) but it's at the top of my lit of builds when I get home.

I also got your idler wheels for the PZ IV.

Great work1

Thanks guys. I'm working on some instructions right now. This is the easiest kit to build that I've done so far. It can be assembled as a static model by gluing the wheels and trail arms on the main body, or as a working model if you use the brass screws and an axle as shown in the photos.

I thought this might be fun and it reminded me of the old days of spotting something new on the Walmart shelves.

I just shipped out the last Pak 36. Shapeways still has them, link below, but they only send the plastic parts. That is fine if you are going to glue it as a static model. If you want to make your wheels and trail arms operational and need a set of axle, screws and nuts let me know.
