1/16 scale not 1/6.

I don't have one, but from looking at the pictures, the inner most wing struts are not correct, the landing gear is definitely not correct, and I can't figure out what those giant-size rivet heads are all about on the sheet metal areas around the cockpits.

I have a 1/25 scale Authentic Models Jenny inbound.

Coreyeagle gave me the heads up on this model, and it looks very nicely detailed.

A slightly smaller scale, so hard to compare the two models.

Greetings:

I had the Flying Circus one and the blue and yellow British/Canadian one at one time as well.

I think they are a bit bigger than 1/16th personally, when I had them in my collection they seemed about 1/12 scale but maybe TTT figured it out.

There are some inaccuaries as noted. From having one of the models I can tell you the reason the landing gear was made that way was due to the factfor shipping the wings come unattached. You have to attach them when you get the model. They were okay models. They look neat on a shelf or in a collection of old stuff but if you are a purist on details they probably aren't for you.

The 1/25 model Snake mentioned and that I have now is a much better looking model. It has the correct rigging, the landing gear is more correct and it is more detailed than the bigger one. The issue with the smaller model though is that it has been discontinued for awhile and it is hard to find. I imagine they did not sell enough of them or possibly it was too costly to produce. A couple of online retailers still have them, I know of 3 places that still had them in stock.

If you want a nice Jenny I'd tried to find the smaller version.

Corey

Snake, Corey, that Jenny looks great...I'm almost afraid to ask the cost, but what the heck...How much?
