I wish the companies had released figures that looked like that!

Sorry to get off topic, but does anybody know where I can get some of the german figures with the fall oak leaf camo?

The only accurate stuff is the oakleaf/ plaintree that the camo smock dual packs had.

How about the smocks some of the dragon figures came with?

The SS camo is way too dark but it looks good. THe splinter looks great AFAIK. I don't have any of those. I like the zeltbhans!

Is there an online store that sells them? I have a felling that the oak leaf scheme would look the best next to the Stuka zu Fuss' ambush camo (there I made my question related back to the original post).

I hate to say it but check ebay :x . The 21st duel packs turned out to be a regional think, some parts of the country were flooded with them other areas never saw them.
The Stuka Zu Fuss can still be found online. :)

Infantry D-Day dual pack, has the best oak leaf pattern from 21st
...except the pattern on the second link is not Oakleaf it is an overprint/plaintree variant.

Thanks for sharing that, Seen that sight before. Has some errors and misconceptions, but a good general reference showing some of the patterns.

That looks like an ausf A or B and an mg34, nevertheless an mg and shield should have been included on the 21st version.

Great picture by the way.

Fantastic pic's normandy.
I find it interesting that neither half-track has a reverse facing MG and both have the forward facing w/shield.
Wonder why then, that 21st went the complete opposite. :?

From the pictures you can't see the mg swing arms, but they would have had them. I think 21st just cheaped out omitting the front one ...(and the aiming rods).

Can't really see them in those 2 photos. Vertical rods mounted on the nose, possibly in the field apparantly to help aim the vehicle/rockets.

the aiming rods took various forms, as you can tell from the above pics and were usually just wooden sticks, attatched to the vehicle to assist in pointing it at the target. Like all rocket launchers of the time, the rockets were quite inaccurate so this aiming method was all that was really needed. It's a nice little mod to make to your stuka zu fus and is pretty easy to do.
