Well, here are the plans for it! 55.7" wingspan! It will be RC too. Can't wait to get started... Just need to purchase some free time first. LOL :lol:

Given that the Waco wasn't self powered, that will make an interesting RC vehicle... Will you use something to tow it aloft or one of those catapault systems? (Saw some guys use one of those in a local field - pretty cool!)

I built a 1:72 Italieri model of a CG-4A Waco almost a dozen years ago now. It was actually one of my few commissioned jobs and I built it for a local veterans museum to go in a display about glider infantry. The model came out really well, though the invasion stripes were a pain to paint and get looking right. Its still there on display :wink:

Greetings:

My great uncle actually flew in these and was part of the Glider Infantry during World War II. He was killed in the Battle of the Bulge.

Is this a kit or model ?

The WACO was on my list for things to do.

I could not find prints . Were did you get yours and is it correct scale or altered to fly better ?
