STM6:

You're too late. Chinese and Pakistani intelligence beat you to it.

Seriously, the MH-60 and SEAL look great. I assume the MH-60 is an upgraded BBI UH-60. The mini-guns look great.
Also, the SEAL is a big improvement over BBI's Delta Force figures---the knee pads look like they articulate with the knee compared to the Delta Force figure's knee pads which stay in the fixed position when the lower leg is articulated. The SEAL appears to have a M4 carbine. From one source I read, the SEAL that killed Osama bin Laden used an HK416.

I added the BBI Delta Force figures to the BBI MH-6 "Nightstalkers"---and it looks really impressive. I added FOV Delta Force figures to the BBI UH-60 to make it an 82nd Airborne UH-60.

Pardon my ignorance, but is this a custom or a new item on the market?

It will be a new release according to reliable source.
This new bird comes with 2 new M134 mini guns and window mount, slide opened windows (fixed). 1 x 160th Nightstalker pilot and 1 x Navy Seal action figure.
There will be individual 160th pilot and Navy Seal figure up for sale at the same time.

Wow, looks like Pickle's custom made some heads turn. Way to lead the way Pickle!!!

It will be interesting to see when this one becomes available. I can still see parts of Pickle's kit adding to this vesion even.

Pretty darn nice! I'm down for it - and about four of the pilot figures and a dozen of the SEAL figures, assuming those get released as carded figures as well. This counts as a new (or at least modified) tooling for the Blackhawk... Sort of like the Nightstalker Littlebird versus the regular version. This should sell very well, what with the success of the Bin Laden raid and all 8)

The Nightstalker Pilot and Navy Seal individual figure will be in small mailing box
instead of card I guess. The supply will very limit too.

Who is releasing it though? Bbi or a customizing company? Where will it be available to order?

I asked BBI on their Facbook page if there was any news about a new Blackhawk project. The told me there is no official news yet, but to keep checking their website and Facebook page for updates.

I just realized that the day this topic was posted was the same day that I watched Black hawk Down in 5 years. Coincidence?

That aside, I cannot wait to make this my first BBI product!

STM6:

I have the following questions:

1. What are prices for the MH-60 and figures?
2. When are the release dates?
3. Is the MH-60 a modified BBI UH-60?
4. Can you post more photos of the MH-60 showing the entire helicopter?

PS....I hope the new pilots fit easily into the MH-60 because the BBI "Chopper Harris" Knight Stalker figures are extremely difficult to insert into the cockpits of the BBI MH-6 and UH-60.

Thanks.

dragon 53, I've cut a small part (nail shaped) of the belt and flattened the hose pouches on Chopper Harris to seat him better. A relatively easy way to introduce him into the UH-60 is the use of tweezers. Place him in a seating position, introduce head first, than correct the position of arms and legs. Or feet first, but without helmet that have to be put in a 2nd step. Same method for the MH-6, but Harris is too big (or has to much equipment like the gun holster) to fit in the Kiowa.

GRANCH:

I managed to squeeze my Chopper Harrises into the MH-6.....but it looks like they're snoozing in a La-Z-Boy recliner with their feet sticking out.

Is this official news, or a custom?

I can't find anything on this on BBI website or on any online retailer.

??

are we sure this isn't just going to be some super expensive custom helicopter? Or has bbi retooled their blackhawk (hope, hope).

edit: upon closer inspection i now see that that figure is an action figure, not a custom like i thought it was at first. wow.

so i feel pretty certain that this is going to be a retooled bbi blackhawk. Pretty cool...this will be their first ever 1/18 retool.

So now they can release their Hind next, Right?....right?

Actually not quite. The MH-6 Littlebird and MH-6 Nightstalker variant would technically count as a 1:18 retool, at least in as much as the Blackhawk is being considered one. There were significant differences between the two MH-6 toolings, with the Nightstalker variant having what amounted to practically a new fuselage with finer riveting, no sensor pods, antennas, mounting points for the benches, etc.

It looks like BBI is going a similar route with the new Blackhawk. It will have the overall same tooling and many of the same parts - with some important differences like the sensort pods, windows, miniguns, and the removed seating.

Like the differing toolings with the Littlebirds, the differences are significant enough for me to warrant a second ship 8)

Pickel,
Don't give up on your DAP accessories. Even if (and I still believe its a big IF) BBI comes out with a retooled Blackhawk, looks like all they added are the miniguns and radome and Flir. Still no fuel probe, crab-eye sensors, or most important for me - the modified winglets with the M230 chain gun and Hellfire missles.
I'm still in for your DAP kit parts if they ever make it to daylight.
