Guess what I found
I was clearing out the shed, when I found a great big box in the back covered in dust. My wife says she has never seen it before, so I opened it up and guess what I found: a junkyard of 1:18 bits. There were heads from figures, broken airplane wings, canopys, landing gear, and ripped boxes, but absolutely nothing of real use. I have only had one 1:18 plane, and Me 262 that I bought and sold in the same day, so I don't see how this box could be mine. Maybe the previous house owners left it in the shed when they moved out?

Re: Guess what I found
Can you tell what type of plane the parts come from?
You might have some takers on here.
I would be interested in the heads...

I seem to remember someone on here was also asking about a Spitfire Canopy? (See what you've started B17!)

I need a canopy for a 21st yellow 7 262, a 2x4 fell on it while I was making more display room- the landing gear were fine for some reason. All 5 or 6 pieces were glued back together, but something about it just ain't quite right...

Re: Guess what I found
I gues I wasn't clear. This is a mess of a junkyard! These were at the bottom of the box scattered beneath old furniture. The heads are all re-painted or scratched up horribly, the airplane parts look like something from a nuclear explosion (there actually are some burnmarks on the pieces). I did research on my own, and I can not identify anything to any particular model. Looking at the mess on my computer-side table, I am now wondering how much of this actually is 1:18; it could be a smorgasborg of different scales.
Something else I forgot to mention: My wife and I moved into this house in 2004, so any 1:18 would have been pre-2004 era.
Sorry to those that were hoping for a little something, but there is nothing really worthwhile to use unless you are interested in a plane that was vapourized by an Alien anti-matter beam and there is almost nothing left.

Here is the final blow: I got up today, and the pile on my computer table is gone, and I don't see any of the pieces in the garbage can, so I have no idea what happened to them (but as long as their out of my hand, I'm happy!)

B17, you should have told me earlier that there was nothing good in that box. >_<
That was a waste of a trip to your house. Jk Jk

Time to hide the wife!
Yeah, it would have been nice if there had actually been something nice in there, but my wife was able to make a lamp that was also in the box look really good (at least that's what shes telling me to make the box discovery seem like not just a waste of a find) Imagine what you could have hidden in your sheds!
