Board Member's "Panzers on Parade" soon lost to history?

Post by c44 » Wed Mar 02, 2011 8:05 pm

Hey, does anybody remember who uploaded http://video.yahoo.com/watch/664753/3061815 (maybe the MIA General Blasto)? And if it's available anywhere else (it ain't on YouTube, & scheduled to be removed by Yahoo)? My grandkids & I watch this gem all the time, and I can't download it, I'd hate to see it disappear forever...

The Youtube sequel has 1/18 figures of Telly Savalas, James MacArthur and Henry Fonda incinerating the German tanks to molten plastic

I had forgotten all about General Blasto and his huge backyard armies. Don't think there are enough pieces in the film for it to be his. Maybe he went broke considering all the figures he bought at $30 a piece on ebay. Think its getting close to a year since I saw a post from him.

The stop action technique in the film is not quite as good as the old dinosaur movies they used to make  , but still pretty cool.

You can download the video to your hard drive with several different free programs like Real Player.

Real Player worked perfectly for me. If you can't get it worked out I can send you a copy on cd.

Got it, trigger, I took your advice and downloaded RP (I've avoided that program for a while because it used to want to hijack the audio & video defaults on my computer, but this latest version seems to behave nice)...ironically, it looks like yahoo may no longer be planning to remove everyone's videos...and thanx, that was a generous offer to burn a CD, you're a bro...!
