Yeah, just saw the email newsletter now. I was really hoping for 1/18th stuff but this is still very interesting and promising.

This is encouraging news. Maybe this means that All-Go is still in the picture with Skyworks on the 1/18 scale A-10 project. With the 1/32 scale news, it means All-Go now has a factory to go to for producing models.

will we never see a F4U Corsair repaint from JSI?
Does the term "Stolen molds" in Chinese really mean re-possessed by the rightful owner?

I'm with you on this. I'm hoping skyworks efforts are for the molds to do the A-10 in plastic.

I wonder if when they say all molds back, they really mean all 1/32nd molds

Very encouraging news. I'm interested to see the repaint possibilities as well as what the new items will be. Hopefully no repeats of the "Passion Wagon" and King Tiger fiasco.

I think this is a smart thing to do on AllGo's part and I've said it before. Start out small and work your way up. I'm sure the 1:32 planes are less money to produce, and the fact that they are re-issuing an existing plane, the most sought after and most expensive one on the secondary market (up to $300

) the former TRU exclusive P-51B/C "Shangri La."
Don't know about the choice of the FW-190 "Red 19" but at least it's one of their last and best toolings. Starting out even a 1:32 "Passion Wagon" P-51D in limited release would be a big money maker me thinks.

It probably doesn't please the 1:18 crowd just yet, but it's a start and larger vehicles and planes that may not sell because they are a lot more expensive all the way around is risky for a company that is in baby steps right now.

We can only hope that this will lead to some real winners down the road in 1:18 (I collect those too) and I'm happy to see that AllGo has control over some of the missing 21st molds like they should. I wish them the best in all their endeavors.

This is great news to hear All-Go is back in the picture!
As far as 1:18th being risky, well it may seem that way to some but not me.
Look at the resent bidding war over the King Tiger prototype, The interest is still there or I should have said "want" is still there after 5 or more years.
The Jagdpanther announcement also got a huge positive reaction.
Look at Pickeihaube's 1:18th custom line, and most resent T-34 and its variants and the upcoming Horten HO 229!
I'm not knocking 1:32, just stating that 1:18 is still in demand.

I can only imagine what they are going to charge for any 1/18 repaints they have planned. I feel very fortunate that I was around when the 1/18 planes were first released and I was able to build a very respectable air force. This is still good news for those with pockets deep enough to continue in this hobby. I hope AllGo finally gets going. I may not be able to purchase every release like I did in the past, but if the right plane gets released it will be tempting.

You only got that price because of Walmart. Most every other dealer selling those planes was sitting around $30 at least. A plastic kit of any of those planes sells for more than $20, PLUS you have to do all the work. We simply weren't paying realistic prices for any of 21C's 1/32 offerings.

Besides, we know what Walmart pricing helped do to 21C.

Oh that. After 10 years in this hobby i consider that par for the course. I don't even notice it anymore. Of course they did have that little problem of GOING BANKRUPT. So i think they should be cut a little slack in the case of the KT. I have no doubt that it would have been made next, had they survived.

And now they're back. And i have visions of KT's dancing through my head.

I know, but it still sucks that they are twice what they once were, for whatever reason. I guess for me it boils down to value. If I am going to fork over roughly $50 shipped for a 1/32 plane I am buying a Tamiya or Hasegawa kit and have a much broader selection then a P-51 or FW-190. You may have to do the work, but the 21st planes are not in the same league as Tamiya or Hasegawa. I see both sides of the coin when it comes to this hobby, but I am just bummed out the prices jumped so much.

Gasoline, taxes, milk, bread, GI joes, etc. have all gone up in price, while our salaries have gone down. Hotwheels remarkably have stayed the same ... not sure how that works, but the nephews are thankful.

I too thought $40 was a bit much, but for a plane that I want, it is still within reason.

I think I have the two 1:32 offerings they are talking about, otherwise these would be planes I want.

Yup the hot wheels guys still got it good.

A 1:18 plane, well the ones that are left retail for $80. I guess half the plane, half the price. The BBI Dauntless and Wildcat started at around $40.

Taken in perspective with a die-cast plane the price is reasonable. Badcat has just put up a 1:72 Midway TBD Devastator for $51. The detail on some metal planes disappoints with panel lines too deep in most cases this seems to be symptomatic with die cast. The prices for anything larger, forget about it. That's deep pocket territory.

Besides there's some retail outlets offering the new 1:32 Allgo planes at a considerable savings over the suggested retail. Closer to $30 from one of our illustrious members here.

Some of the 21stC JSI 1:18 repaints don't seem to be doing that great these days. Though they aren't offering any of the high demand Hueys yet.
