Looks to be a BBI Hornet. No tail markings. Weird box

It could be a dealer sample. There was an F16 on ebay also that was unpainted and had no markings which was a sample sent to distributors.

I think the tail markings are there. Just cant see 'em with the pics. Golden Dragons. But, the plane is in pieces unlike the normal release

That's from the Sears catalog in Canada-I had one of those at one point.

It is a Golden Dragons F-18.

But obviously it is not in the regular long, window box. It looks like it has the appropriate tie downs. And the fuselage has been broken down into two pieces as well.

American Grenadier has said it is an Asia release, and that would make sense to me.

Although I have never seen one like this before. The box looks to be very cheaply done, and the BBI sticker has just been slapped on.

I would be wary of purchasing this.

My first bbi Golden dragon Hornet I bought offf of Ebay back in 2006 came in a box and with a sticker juts like that. the seller was from Canada and said that how they came from JC penny or was it Sears..any ways its normal and I would not worry about it....
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

Yes, some LAV's from BBI came via JC Penny the same way. Brown box with a photo label slapped on. Same stuff inside.

OK Guys lets end the saga of what this is:
I have one in front of me and it is the same. The box is cardboard and the plane IS FROM CANADA, AND MADE FOR CANADIAN SALES ONLY THRU SEARS. Due to Canadian Law, everything sold there must be bi-lingual, English and French as can be seen on the label. The long boxes that we are familiar with was for distributipn elsewhere.. None of these went to Canada. It is the Golden Dragons and the tail markings are there albeit the way the pictures were taken, they cannot be seen. I have purchased from ths seller before and he does get the Canadian Version at times. The box does look flimsey but it seems to hold the bird securely. Not a bad idea when sellers sell their 18's and 16's to split them apart (easy) and it saves a heck of a lot on shipping. That is if you do not have the original box.
Hope this helps?
