I just checked JSI, and found this: http://www.js-int.net/vehicle_60016.html
I just recently got interested in getting the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 with the forward MG, but seeing the prices on eBay puts that out of my head. So I guess my question is, is it worth waiting (x) amount of time for JSI to hopefully release this beauty or bite the bullet and get one from eBay?
Worth waiting?

Well, that's been on their web site for a while now, so you may be waiting quite some time.

Re: Worth waiting?
its a gamble to wait! 1/18 from 21c is getting harder and harder to find and prices keep going up. a mib wc63 just went for 168.00. and i sold a broken wc51 for 85.00. i wouldnt plan on any releases from JSI for awhile other than the F-14 release early this year.

Re: Worth waiting?
It's interesting those WC-57, 61, and 63's have recently been climbing to alarming prices. There's a WC-63 buy it now for $150.
I remember a couple of those being the last few stragglers at online stores. I picked up the WC-63 at Small Joes on sale quite a while ago.
I wonder if JSI has the molds, or what ever happened to them? They've always seemed to have done better than the US Halftracks, yet they possible will offer that and the German Halftracks, which begs the question, where are they?

Re: Worth waiting?
Thanks for your advice guys, I just went and found a Sf.kfz 251 for 29.99 on eBay. With shipping, its the same price as it was on my hobby stores shelves years ago. I have a feeling that the first half of this year will be the last oppurtunity to buy 1:18 vehicles for under $90.
