I never understood why the big companies didn't, it would save them time and money. Instead of pursuing a model there's not much interest in........Passion Wagon sound familiar?

As I was waiting for stuff to dry today. I pulled out my 1/35 scale 105 Howitzer model.

One of my buddies asked me how I was going to make the wheels.

Well I checked the wheels with all of the American rolling stock that I have and they match the M-3 halftrack . Kinda.

The diameter of the wheel is correct. The tire is a little thick and the rim does not protrude out far enough.

All these things can be fixed. So the hard part of this build will not be that hard to do.

My est. price on the 105 Howitzer will be $65-$75.

This should be a easy kit to put together and you will only have to deall with 2 colors.

OD green and black for the tires.

Of course AFTER the T-34

I'm definitely in for one and the possibility for variations like the 105mm on a halftrack and the 105mm Priest on a Sherman chassis.

I would be interested in both the M48 armor skirts and a mountable 105 for the M3.

Would this be a easy conversion for a Halftrack, sounds really good.

This is one of my all time favourite arty guns. Definitely, getting one!

Could a 25 pounder be far behind? It's along the same lines for the basic part.

A Daimler Scout car would be a simpler vevhicle to make.

Sherman individual tracks! Those Russian ones look mighty tasty!

Man this thing seems to be popular.

Maybe I should have started it a while back.

I already have a 1/35 scale model kit to scale off of. So when I am ready to do it there should be no delay.

The 229 will be after the T-34 and Howitzer.

Unless there is more of a demand for the GAZ.

One will be after the other a one two punch.

I posted the Howitzer kit because this is the one I am using to scale off of.

I have been playing hooky from the T-34 to get a little farther along on this .I will post pics of the Howitzer build on Friday.

I will work on the Howey this weekend as well as a few Pavey back orders.

I will get back on the T-34 on Monday .

Well here is about 7 days worth of work. This thing sure has a lot of bells and whistles.

I think that I need about 5 more days to wrap this up  Right now I do not have the time to finish it because orders are stacking up and I really need to get back on the T-34.

So far this is what I have done.

Great work!

I'd love to see how you make the mold for that. I'd do Nashorn kit, but I can't make the multi-part mold.

David, those are halftrack wheels.
