has power team gone out of business? None of the links to any sites work, no new product, no product being restocked anywhere. Anyone know?

Their website is still up. Not much has changed on there. Their 1:18 sets are still on JCPenney's site and the PowerTeam fan site is still going with no news on it. And their stuff is still showing up at Toys R Us under the TRU brand-forget what they call it.
I guess we'll find out in a few weeks if anything shows up at BigLots.

As far as I know they're fine and new stock is still shipping overseas of things like the Chinese figures and gear...

And speaking of new PTE... Tis the season at Big Lots. Time to start lurking there I guess.

They're still stocked here in New Zealand. Just had a look today actually. More of the Jeep and trailer sets showed up at the local store and a handful of those Aerial Rocket Helicopter (ARH) thingies...the one that looks like a Dauphin Helicopter.

Their stuff is all over my TRU along with Chap Mei stuff. I have to say, CM is cranking out pretty cool vehicles - police cars, dragon wagon type trucks, assault boats - really a lot of neat stuff in the lower-tier market.

Big Lots near work stocked about half an aisle with several playsets and figures. Stuff I remember Playsets with horse and motorcycle, camel and motorcycle, Little bird Helicopter, Zodiac type boat, and Main battle tank (Abrams) plus some 12" and 1/18 figures

My store today had:

-Chinese Tanks w/US Figures
-Littlebirds out the whazzoo
-Little 3-figure w/large accessory sets (3 figures and a horse, raft, etc.)
-Humvees (hard top and pick-up types)

That's it...

No towers (:(), no big bombed out buildings, no Abrams (:(), no 3-packs with the hedgehog (:(), no figure w/big accessory, no tents/cots,/etc. (:(), and no bridges (:().

A ton of stuff I wanted isn't around at all, and nothing I did see was anything I wanted except POSSIBLY picking up the Chinese tank... But honestly it's not that appealing even. *shrugs* I'm disappointed with my first stop thus far.

Shoot! I was hoping that we'd see the jeep and trailer and the desert set that the Canada Sears has every year. But it's still early. Maybe after their back to school stuff is gone.

A few items still show up on their online site. They have 2 1:6 sets on clearance and the 1:18 Command Center at regular price ($39.94).

Attack helicopter? You mean the Dauphin "missile" copter or is there a new one?

Yes, I was talking about the aerial rocket helicopter (ARH). Ive been wanting to see one in person for awhile now to see what could be done with it. Going to learn how to paint one of these days.

I see. It's a nice looking chopper, it just lacks any armament.

Picked up my T-90 and a horse today at Big Lots. The tank is super, well worth the $25! They had quite a few.

Any pix of the t 90?

it's not a t-90.....it's a chinese type 95 tank. Similar hull to a t-80, but stretched a bit and very different turret, sort of the shape of an abrams turret.

There have been lots of pics of it posted over the last couple of years. Should be easy to find with a forum search. It's about 1/20 scale. Nice vehicle though.

It's even got the Chinese White-wall road wheels! Someone said they copied the Lepoard turret but I dunno.

I think it's a Type 98. At least that's what I've always seen it referred to as. I did a google search for "Chinese Type 95 tank" and couldn't find any references to such a vehicle in Chinese service. They do have a light machinegun that's designated as the Type 95. Also the Japanese had a WW2 light tank referred to as the Type 95.

I believe it is a 98. Scroll down and check out the picture of the type 98.
