Went to big lots in Middletown New York. Prior to Christmas was a whole isle of stuff, so figured it will still be there. No go, 6 battle tanks a few sas / ranger 6 packs and a few swat with wall packs. Bought the lat two towers in stock hiding in the back.

Is there any speculation that the 1/4 ton jeep trailer that was discussed earlier, showing up in the states any time soon? I think that it had showed in U.K., right?

Thanks

There's no real way to speculate on the PTE line. It seems most stuff surfaces in the U.S. around Fall at Big Lots, or it doesn't. None of the new Chinese figures have shown in the US, and i'd probably buy a full set of those if I could sicne they have removable headgear, but yet all the Chinese armor and stuff surfaced last Fall.

Basically, it might, and it might not. I hope it does though. I'd buy a couple.

Your right JJ I was just hoping that something had shown up and was not mentioned yet.
I would also buy into the chinese vehicles and troops. Anyway we can look forward to last quarter reset in the retail market getting ready for Christmas. Biglots has been very good to me in the past. I can only hope they will continue that product line.

Thanks
Eric

Had a chance to check my local Big Lots today. Couple of the Chinese tanks, but that's it. They reorganized this store several months ago, added lots of other things (such as furniture) but drastically shrank the toy section. Will check again toward Christmas.

Has the A-10 shown up yet?

On the OSW forum it was posted that someone had recently spotted 1:6 Power Team figures at a Tuesday Morning store in San Diego. It didn't mention any 1:18 stuff but it's worth a check for anyone that might be in the vicinity of a Tuesday Morning store.

Somebody over on the joecustoms site posted some info on some new PTE items:

http://www.joecustoms.com/forums/viewto ... 10&t=29400

The J-10 looks great, and I'm interested in the bunker/base looking items as well. Of course, sadly, the chances of any of this being available in the western hemisphere anytime soon is pretty low :(

If you mean the newer items, I'm as lost as you! I think the link at the joecustoms site is to a European distributor that would sell them in bulk to a retailer. I think I've seen one or two e-tailers in the UK in the past that sold some of the newer PTE releases like the SU-27 but I don't know; I just remember the prices being really high, and then overseas shipping on top of that.

In the US, the best bet is if you have a Big Lots near you, around Christmas. Or jcpenney.com (good prices) and foxholetoys.com have some items as well. But of course anything available in the US is the older PTE items.

Update: I found quite a number of PTE items at www.amazon.co.uk, including some of the newer items (bunker, base, SU-27, Rocket Copter WITH rockets). Go there and search for "World Peacekeepers".

However it looks like Amazon UK doesn't ship to the US :( So the only bet would be to have it shipped to a friend in the UK who then ships it here.

If this years PTE showing follows the same schedule as last year then PTE items should be showing up at Big Lots within the next few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled!

What PTE hits where and when hasn't had a strict schedule in the past unfortunately. There was one year stuff didn't really show up in any quantity at BL till like October. :(

I'm kind of hoping it's August-ish again this year though. I like to get my PTE nut out of the way early.

If you have no luck finding these we just started stocking them. Not all are available in the US due to weight. This seems to be a good range for us and we should be adding to it in the next few weeks.

I notice we've shipped a few to Canada recently, if its anyone here I hope you enjoy them!

Hey Wrights,

any chance you can crack open that new battlefield playset and snap a few photos? I'd dig seeing it and I think others would like to see it out of the packaging as well.

Hello Jesse James,

I would love to do this, but obviously I could not sell the set on if I had opened it!

However, I will give you a detailed run down of whats in the box. Maybe you might have missed some of the many accessories included.

4 "Marines" with M15 Assault Rifles, 1 with underslung grenade launcher.
1 Marine with unknown sniper rifle.
1 Marine with unknown rocket launcher.
2 sets of sandbags.
1 barbed wire fence.
1 "Jerry can".
2 boxes.
1 shell case with 3 shells.
1 oil drum.
1 FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missile launcher.
1 Motorbike.
1 Quad Bike/ATV
1 Huge Ruined House, fully detailed, shell holed, 3 floors etc.

It's a really great set.

I have now set international postage costs on all the heavier "Power Team"/"World Peacekeeper" sets. The postage costs are the cheapest I have been able to find. Special thanks to a customer (who may or may not read this forum) for their patience and assistance whilst I worked this all out. :)

Feel free to have a look and ask any questions you may have (on here or on ebay).

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Wrights-Collec ... 34.c0.m322

Also, I will be adding to this range in the next few weeks. If anyone is interested in a particular set, please let me know. What sets are hard to find in the US?

Was near the best Big Lots in my area yesterday, so stopped in to check out the toys. No sign of any PTE at all. Nothing! Very depressing.

Yeah it's way early. toys get a reset at BL just like every other store. Uusally when Halloween junk comes out (and their halloween junk is cool too!), toys get their seasonal reset.

One year stuff didn't come out though till October (PTE that is) for one reason or another. Might've been the "lead" scare year and stuff was delayed due to that, at the time. I'm hopeful for those new sets though. I'm really curious to see that odd bunker one opened. What it looks like from the back. The mock trenches too, but that bunker thing I really want to see in some detail. :)
