Thanks for the extra pictures, Karl!
Any new sets pictured on the back of these sets?

You're welcome.
I'm looking at the back of the Amphibian box. Much of the same, but I do see a snow humvee with four treads. I don't recall seeing this set pictured in the past.

What I'm really looking for is the Military Campsite with well, Battle Command Post, and a set with the bridge. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. With this recent wave, perhaps we'll see more.

Check mine tomorrow... I'd buy more bunks, tents, and maybe even the gator... could make a little speeder for STar Wars out of that. Kind of a goofy cool military vehicle.

Nearest BL had 4 towers (2 each color) and ribbed boats... nothing else, yet. I'm hopeful I see those tents and bunk sets. I really wanna buy some PTE. Holensock, be prepared! I'll make you a deal! :P

I'll let you know what I find... I'm looking forward to some bunks and tents I hope. I don't have a tent yet actually. I'd love to see a grey version of that bunker come out. Some of the snow guys may interest me too if they have unique headsculpts with removable buckets or hats.

I bought a '3' set of the snow guys last year. They do have removable hats and helmets. I like the hats, but the helmets look a bit small-don't seem right-but it grew on me. They're not hard plastic either. Both the hats and helmets are real 'rubbery'.

So Big Lots has this BIG 20% off your total purchase last Sat & Sunday, and naturally, my local stores only had the 12" guys and PTE towers. NUTHIN ELSE!! Whatta rip. Will probably wait a few days for them to recoup. They probably didn't want to sell out of PTE before the holidays...sheesh....

"Ollies", a discount store near me, had the US Marines and Seals for a couple dollars less than Big Lots.

Cool! We have one of those near me. I will have to check it out.
The weapons didn't look that great, but the figures might be worth a look.
It looks like they were positioned to hold a weapon in a shooting stance.

That's a good selection of PTE, but damned if my BL's have that much. I'd buy a bunker or two probably.

Had a chance to check a BL in the Buffalo area plus one here in Rochester today. Not much on the shelves, and nothing new.

The amphibian is a new vehicle this year.
The howitzer was released a few years back, but haven't seen it since.
The Modern Arctic Humvee is a new one too, but I have yet to find it in any
of my local Big Lots.

The PTE season is upon us! Anyone seeing anything yet? I think it's gotten later and later when PTE shows up at Big Lots anymore... Usually now the late toy reset after Halloween dies down and Xmas crap goes up. It used to hit in August with the back to school reset. Thems were the days.

Hi Jesse -

I've been watching this topic closely in hope of any news. No one from my local Big Lots can tell me if they will be getting in PTE this year. I missed out on many of the older sets and would love to see some re-releases. Hopefully, we'll hear some news soon. Really looking forward to it!

I just hope that it won't be a "Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" Halloween let down. Got to keep the faith. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

In addition, write to Big Lots Corporate. If they get enough people asking, maybe it will encourage their buyers to make it happen. They have a contact page here:

It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

Fall is a wonderful time of the year... the leaves changing color, the weather getting cooler, and the hope of lots of Tricks or Treats.

For those of you who believe in the Great Pumpkin, coming to a Big Lots near you is a harvest of Power Team Elite/World Peacekeepers starting as early as late September 2014.

Be on the lookout for a very nice display of more than last year's harvest.

Some of the regulars and 2013 sets with maybe even a surprise from holidays past.

Make sure you check your stores regularly for the Great Pumpkin is near, "it won't be long now".

They've had something every year for how many years now? Not much reason not to bank on more this year. We'll see though. I'm not banking on much new and last year my stores didn't seem to do as well as some of you guys saw. :( There's a toy reset coming along in October I believe?

Found a buttload at a local Big Lots this weekend, and Saturday was everything 20% off with your Rewards Card that's rarely rewarding. So that was nice to knock some cashola off. I picked up a bunk, a tent, and two figure packs with the hedgehogs because you can never have enough obstacles. :)
