Smalljoes Ourwar?

Post by Fritzkrieg » Sun Jul 11, 2010 10:39 am

I was checking out Smalljoes, and noticed the Ourwar figures are no longer listed for preorder. Is smalljoes no longer going to carry the line. Is ebay going to be our best option for these?

You can get them at Foxhole Toys.

speaking about modern figures - some of the new Joes are really amazing. Look at the gear this guy comes with:

The manufacturer in China is having export issues and there would appear to be some shenanigans afoot, although I can only read between the lines.

I have decided to remove the product from the site for the time being.

If I don't hear any further news within a two week time-span I'll advise and cancel out any pre-orders.

Very interesting. Almost as if they saw an opportunity to close the gap with Elite Force, etc.. Great accessories.

Out of curiosity, is the silencer on the Barrett realistic or likely more for the cool factor?

i think the silencer is for real. Would make sense on a sniper rifle in certain situations. I believe in Tears Of The Sun, the sniper uses a silencer. Not hard evidence, i know, but probably authentic.

Yep, there are suppressors for .50's...not that you'd hear the shot from half a mile away...unless you weren't the target.

I'll third the supressor's on Barret's... It's my understanding that, in general, the gear in Call of Duty's Modern Warfare games is real on one level or another (though not necessarilly common, or even uncommonly used), and the Barret can have a silencer in the game... Which makes it kind of interesting. :)

Thanks Popeye357, but it's an habit for me to recognize weapons ;) but anyways, i'm waiting for my 7 men squad from badcat too. As i saw on some reviews, they kick asses!

Now i'm wondering where i can find a cheap UH-60 from bbi.. The only one i saw was 79.99$, and was in grey/green camo... Not my favourite one :/

If anybody has a clue, PM me please =)

Damn, I just traded a BH for some rare Joes (WTF??) anywho, I'd do what Pick says, get that puppy, you can paint it any color you want and yep, thats a pretty good price nowadays. I just got the Ourwar figs and I think they are great with the exception ot the heads, but thats easily remedied. I like the gummy helmets, they fit really well on the figs. I got em from Badcat and they came out to like 57 bucks shipped.
