Hey Guys ,

Here is the total updates. There is a lot going on right now and a lot of catching up is to be had . As you have guessed I have lost about 2 weeks worth of life that I will not get back.

I have damage to my house and I am still waiting for the claims adjuster to give me a claim.

My real job has stacked up as well. I know of all the projects that I am working on and I hope to give you all a run down on their progress. Some may be happy some not.

I am not real fast on filling my orders but now things may get worse .

I am sorry about this but I assure ALL ORDERS WILL BE FILLED . I just need more time.

Ho-229:

All the parts have been pored. I need to kit one out and send to Canada. The full builds have their wings mated to their fuselages.

Pavehawk parts:

All the parts have been made with one coat of primer . Unpainted kit is done just needs to be kitted and shipped.

Sdkfz 251 Tarps:

Moulds made ALL of the orders have been filled they just need to be boxed and shipped.

Panther F :

Moulds about 2/3 done.

Panther Skirts:

Moulds waiting to get made.

Here is a list of projects almost to the point of having their moulds made . They have been put on hold because of lack of time to get on them . I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO GET CAUGHT UP !!!

Sdkfz 251 " C " back date. Prototype done !!

Sherman Jumbo . Prototype turret made waiting to finish glacias and extra armor add ons.

Fw-190 . Cowling made . I am waiting for the Hun to return the prop and spinner so I do not have to make another one.

Tiger II ?

I am chomping at the bit to get started on this but , as you can see ............

I haven't been watching this for some time. I see the 190 mod is in the works. I will have to watch more oftern.

Matthew, what do you think the production time frame will be for the 190 mods?

Thanks for doing all this great work.

I could be busy this winter. I have a package of decals coming from Lair and possibly some 190 mods....all that sounds good to me.

Looks like you have a ton of stuff going on right now, Matthew.

Didn't realize you had so many model projects going on, and at the same time.

Of course, your home and personal issues take top priority, and think everyone who has orders with you, will understand about these delays. Just happy to have you do these for them.

Quite Right.... Matthew, I didn't mean to sound insensitive to the many other, much more important, issues you are facing. I was just pleasantly surprised by the project list and just reacted.

No time point yet on the 190 cowling.

I have worked the last 3 weeks on my real job. Honestly i have not worked 3 weeks in a row on my real job this whole year.

Believe me I need the money. But I have made some great progress in getting most of my orders wrapped !!

All of the Panther turret orders have been filled wrapped and ready to ship. Except Ken H. of Washington. Your turrets are almost built and ready for the first pass of primer paint.

ALL of the Panther skirts are done wrapped and ready to ship.

All of the Pavehawk fuel probes and crab eye/tail sensors are done wrapped and ready to ship FINALLY !!

All of the Panther wheels are done wrapped and ready to ship.

The 2 Horten kits are all poured waiting to be kitted and canopies pulled.

The FULL build Hortens parts are all poured ( for a while now ) and the wing fits have been started .

WORK WILL RECOMENCE ON THE HORTENS THIS WEEK !! THANK YOU GUYS FOR YOUR PATIENCE ON THE HORTENS.

I will devote as much time as I can on the Hortens to get them wrapped up ASAP.

Loc N. of CA your landing gear are coming back to you.

Everything mentioned will ship MONDAY !!!

Thanks you all for your patience and support !!!

Woots! Picked up a second Panther to bash into an ambush-pattern camoed one with infrared scope, but that's going for this upgrade instead. So I will need another Panther. I fear I will end up with more tanks than the German Army had in all of WWII. :D

Allow me to add my THANK YOU here too, Matthew. *TwoThumbsUp*

Matthew,
Glad to hear you're still up and running after the storm. Like you said, it could have been much worse. With your storm issues and your full plate of other kits and mods, I'm happy to hear you're making some headway on the FW-190A project. Take care and update us when you can. Your efforts keep us motivated!

Best regards, Mike

The last 2 Horten kits have shipped.

Now I need to finish ( full build ) 3 more. I think that I may just make myself one. :D

So I am catching up to my long list of orders.

I will be working on Ken's Panthers as I do the Hortens.

Dare I say the Tiger II is getting close ?

Going back to Curtiss products...

Is there a chance we could see a re-issue of the P-36? I missed the boat on the first batch. I'd also like to get my hands on that P-40E if you find the time!

Chris

Hey Chris,

As far as the P-36 is concerned . At the time I made the mould it was extremely difficult to make.
Being my first time , I unknowingly created a bunch of problems for myself in the mould making process.

The moulds are still good ( kinda ) but very problematic.

With the knowledge I have now ( after years of trial and error ) if I remake the moulds it will become an easy process.

Of course it will take time to remake them.

I have worked a deal out with my supplier of RTV and resin.
She will sell me a 5 GALLON UNIT at a special price. THAT IS ACTUALLY 10 GALLONS OF RTV !!!!

I will buy this when I get closer to mould making the Tiger II.

It will be $650 for the unit

I still need to finish the 40-E prototype . I would say about another 4 days on it and I think that I could finish it .

But... I will have to place the Fw-190 A mod before it.

On another note.

I have started in earnest the last 3 Horten full builds.

I have stated this before , full builds are VERY TIME CONSUMING

As I make the full builds it makes almost everything else come to a complete halt.

Some of my customers will only buy a fully built model because their modelling skills are questionable.

So I really will be rethinking my full build services . It just takes sooooo long for me to get them out.

Is there any modelers out there who will be willing to build my mods ?

I will try and ask my buddy Scott ( he is a very accomplished modeler ) and see if he will be willing to take this on.

If not , again is there anybody else out there who is will to take this on ?

I was going to ask you if you were interested in farming out that work to sub-contractors. I could be interested. We'll have to talk more. You see the quality of work with the past couple of Corsairs we've repainted. That and the slow moving P-47N mod I'm doing. Between my father and I, I'm sure we could put together a couple of 190s if thats the next big project. Just need to prep for the work.

Hi Matthew,

While you are in Ho229 production can you remember to make an extra set of main gear supports for my kit. I'm almost finally finished with Horton but I don't want to miss out on getting those parts to finish the gear.

Thanks kindly!

1/18th Sdkfz 222 odyssey.

About 2 years ago I made a deal with my buddy Robbie P. of Oregon. We made a trade and I got his fantastic looking Sdkfz 222 ( DAK ) . In return I promised to give him another 222 kit so he could have one of his own.

I sold the last kit to Tank Ace here on the forum. The moulds were almost all ruined trying to get his poured .

He put it up for sale on e-bay a few months ago and sold it to Carbiner here on the forum.

Well we made a trade on Friday and in that trade I got back the 222.

Now I am going to send the 222 to Robbie with the rest of the Live Auction boxes.

It has been over 2 years but I finally filled the order. :D :D :D

Man it has been a long time since I have had a update on this post.

My real work load had been crazy since Christmas time and I have simply not had the time to do anything.

Even shipping well here we go.

Zelda, Sky Pirate's Tiger II is finally on it's way.

Juha of Finland stencils have been shipped .

Pizza, man cones are on their way.

Rudy , the quad parts are on their way.

Mecanico23 your P-40s are on their way but the shipping was a bit more than my estimate . I will PM you..

That is all for now and I do think that mould making wills tart on the Jagdtiger this weekend.
