Potential 1:18 Fodder

Post by Fritzkrieg » Sat May 01, 2010 7:00 am

I saw some Prince of Persia, figures at Target this morning. It Was a Horse, and Rider set. On the back of the box were some other figures, Looks like some potential fodder, for Middle-Eastern Warrior Customs.

TRU had them for 6.99 each. They do look good upclose and look 1/18 scale. On the back of the card, they showed a gate playset that looked promising. Did not see any of the Gate playset in TRU.

they're by Mcfarlane so they're bound to be good figures. Interesting McF is doing mainly 4 inch for this line. About time they woke up. They're supposed to be releasing 4 inch sports figures soon too.

If McF gets into 4 inch figures in a big way that'll be really good for us.

those should be on clearance pretty quick; i'll have to pick some up when they are. The guy with the flaming arm would make a good insurgent. Not crazy about the real cloth cape on the dude with the horse.

If their 4 inch baseball figures are as nice they'll be pretty sweet.

The WMs around here have the baseball ones. They seem to use the same body on all, so they all looked juiced up like Roger Clemens

Jeter is about the only one that sorta looks the closest.

The playset looks good for modern dioramas. Would be nice if it was reversable like 21C's..

What are they thinking? Do kids really want toys from a film like this? Another waste of plastic if you ask me.... to the bargan bin with you right next to the The Lightning Thief toys.

Was thinking the exact same thing... Some modern GI's sneaking around it. Pretty slick for that I think.
