What should the next short kit be ?

Post by pickelhaube » Sat Apr 24, 2010 6:04 am

I am in the middel of the Humvee project and then I will get back on the INDY SIDECAR.

I am also gearing up to do a big project but will do another short kit .

This list is the short kits that I WILL DO. But over time.

1. Firefly
Barrel, mantlet , Britsh style fire ext.,cleaning rods bow plate cover, radio box and antenna cage . I will also make a M-4 rear deck for you guys who have the FOV Sherman.

2. Sherman mine roller.
The one with the huge rollers. All you will need is a Sherman to put it on.

3. M-3 Tank Destroyer.
I will make the gun and all of its parts to fit on the Half track.

John Wayne : Mine was taller

The Sherman mine roller.
The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

There does not seem to be a lot of interest in any of these looking at the responses.

At one time the Firefly was up there , oh well.

I have been comissioned to do the M-3 TD. So that may be the next one.

I did a post a year or so ago on doing a Abrams mine plow and that went by the wayside due to lack of interest as well. I thought that would get a good resonse but it was not to be.

I long for the old days when I would build these things for self enjoyment. Those days are long gone. Now I have to build things that OTHER PEOPLE WANT.

Not to blow my own horn but my stuff is the ONLY ARMOR PIECES TO COME OUT IN ABOUT A YEAR THAT HAS BEEN OFFERED TO THE MASSES.

1N 1/18 SCALE !!!!! 1/16 scale is not 1/18 scale.

I vote for the M3 TD (also known as the T19) as long as it's the 105MM gun and the accompanying ammo storage racks.

When do you want the money? :D

I love the idea of the M3 Kit.
I'd be up for one of these.
