I think its just blackened to get people excited for later releases and not really a chase fig.

Hope I'm wrong though :D

Not sure, the silhouette looks like Opfor which would certainly be interesting.

what is everyone's opinion of these figures? Worth the money or is it better spent on FOV's?

I think these are the best representation of modern US figures available. The weapons are oversized but that can be fixed easy enough, with Maurauder guns. I modified mine using some GI Joe and FOV parts.

Ordered the set for the $49.99 free shipping on June 3rd and received them yesterday June 18th. Good packing job. Best modern guys in my opinion. Don't mind the molded sunglasses 'cause my son and his guys never took theirs off over there. A couple of the faces though leave a little bit to be desired. Overall a good deal for the price.

Any word on when we'll see the WWII release? I think Jesse said there was another, "never before" 1:18 WWII set coming. Not sure if he ment Another Country like Russian or British troops, or just another German or US version. Either way I'm excited about the prospect of a new 1:18 WWII action figure line.

Ah yes, now I remember those figures.

The cases do look a little large, I just looked at mine it is 11" by 5". Hopefully the production figures and equipment will be to scale.

They're still planned, but some licensed things came up and took priority. Not sure where the Germans are at this point, haven't discussed it lately, but they do/did have more planned beyond that as well.

Where do we find news on Tieka toys or do you have some sorta insider contact?

What ever happened to the mystery figure from the first series?

It would be great if the Germans came out, though I wish they would fix the case of high crotch disorder these guys all appear to have.

I'm hopeful. Last I talked to him, they're still on the table, just other things came up in the company that took precedence.

I asked... So far, they're hoping to produce the Germans for 2012, but late in the year most likely. That's all I've been told, but I'm hopeful this means they WILL happen. Bearing in mind it's a small company as well, and we know how that goes.

I have faith though, at least in these. Not much else in 1:18 to bother having faith in anyway, so why not this ya know?

I could always use some more 1:18 Germans. Let's hope we actually see these someday!

I'm guessing those Germans are meant to be from the Eastern front? The short/rolled up sleeves remind me so many photos from Russia. Plus, that would make sense, since the company has hinted at making other armies -- like the Russians.

Either way, these really don't look that bad. The faces are a little whack, but I'm digging the great articulation. These will be quickly refitted with Dragon 1/18 accessories and gear, though.
I looked at the trap, Ray.

The company didn't say that, actually. That was me. ;) So put it as a "rumor". But a solid one, and something they WANT to do.

And the Germans are intended for an early war look, Spring offensive type guys, warmer weather but not brutally hot... Just something different, intentionally, from what we basically already had. The company was pretty specifically trying to give something different, yet easily recognizable/popular for sales purposes obviously, since it's their first forray into WW2. There is a lot of hope for more though, should these go to retail and do well.

anything new on this?

Couldn't find their website on a Google search and had to go through an old thread to find the URL but their site won't load.

Was looking forward to these figures. Not much to look forward to these days in 3 3/4 figures especially since Gamestar Ghost Recon figures got cancelled.
