1:18 Bravo Team Modern Figures

Post by Foxhole Toys » Sat Feb 13, 2010 12:26 pm

Hello Gang,

If you noticed that the 1:18 Modern USMC/Army Bravo Team lines have been disappearing from your local Targets & Toys R Us stores there is a reason. They will no longer stock these.

Forces Of Valor will be distributing these directly through online retailers from this point forward, just like their WW2 Series. On the other hand, it looks like the Modern Delta & SEAL series figures along with the Paratroopers will remain, for the time being, at Mass Markets.

The latest release offers only 3 of 6 USMC figures & 3 of 6 Army figures. Why not the entire set is beyond us. Along with the figures are the Desert Bradley & Desert M1A1 Abrams Tank.

The Camo Bradley & LAV-25 will no longer be made available at Mass Markets either and we're being told "may" make their way back via online retailers along with the Yellow Tiger Tank late this year or next. No word yet on the Camo Abrams.

Cheers,
Matt

Well, at least I stocked up on plenty of the FOV modern figures when they were readily available at Target.

I, too, would like to know when Unimax will get something new out. Although the 1:18 LAV was not that great, their other vehicles are pretty good, particularly the Abrams, Bradley, Sherman and Tiger. They obviously have lots of choices based on their 1:32 offerings.

Stopped by a Target today and was pleasantly surprised. Full pegs of Marines, Army, Seals, Deltas, and a few Paras. All had the Bravo Team cards (not sure if the Assault Force name was just for TRU). Grabbed a few more since I don't think we will see them for $5 very much longer.

Wow that is good news, I hope it wasn't just a random occurrence.

Target shelves are full here in the 3 Cleveland area stores I checked.
Also had a bunch of 1/48 helicopters and a bunch of 1/32 new modern soldiers.
...who said Target wasn't carrying these anymore?...

Cool. I'm actually looking for a few of the Delta and one of the Seals. If someone wants to swap for some XD or Joes, drop me a line.
