Is this legit? The bad and broken English makes me suspicious. Plus this member hasn't even been on the board for the required 6 months for BST.

You are implying that Italian German Japanese French Chinese Spanish ect.speaking person is automatically liar and thief trying to steal your $10 ,,,,,,,,,, what a ignorant thing to say!

Nope. I've just gotten enough phishing e-mails in bad English asking me to send them money in return for something and craigslist scam replies in bad or broken English asking for me to send them money that I naturally get suspicious when I see somebody asking for money in broken English.

How do we know that you'll only take 55 entries? How do we know that you'll actually send somebody the plane? How do we know this isn't fixed and the winner isn't some friend of yours that will get the plane? What happens if you don't get 55 entries? Will you still give away the plane and take the loss, or will you refund everyone their $10 and keep the plane? When is the cutoff date for entry? Sorry, but there are just too many questions here.

You also failed to acknowledge my question about whether you are even allowed to do this since you haven't been a member for the required 6 months before being allowed to buy/sell/trade. I do believe this lottery would fall under these rules. viewtopic.php?t=8450

If you feel I am being rude or ignorant, then so be it, but this just sounds too good to be true. And whenever something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. If other members are willing to take the chance, then that's their decision. I choose to abstain from this lottery.

I do think that your F-14 is gorgeous. A very nicely done custom. If nothing else, please accept my compliment on your work.

Pokeyjtc does have valid points and questions about this lottery.
When we have had other lottery/contests in the past, the sponsor was someone that had been a long established person on our board that we all knew and trusted. With this kind of thing, trust is number 1.
Have you gotten approval from the moderators of this board to have this lottery?
If you have gotten prior approval, please let us know more details:
End date of lottery?
If 55 people don't send you 10 dollars each, will you still give away the plane? If not, will you refund their money?

Aferg or P-51 - don't be shy. Please let us know what you think.

I am with pokeyjtc on this one. Just to many variables to put into account.

The only way this would work is if SkyWorksToys would send this to P51 or aferg for them to run the lottery but I am sure they have full plates as it is.

So in short if I am gonna give away $10 I am gonna give mine to the Powerball.
Is that you John Wayne, this is me!!

I declare shenanigans.

I don’t like how the number of people changed from around 35 to 55. Bit difference in odds. But then I’m not much of a gambler.

If Jack decides to go ahead with the Lottery www.MilitaryToyShop.com will donate $50 for the first 5 spots. We will not take any part in the drawing just helping you guys get to that 55.

Any of you who are worried about Jack and his honesty...you have nothing to worry about. I have been working with Jack now for three years and he has been first class all the way. We have become good friends and I consider Skyworks a sister company to MTS.

It is up to mister Ferguson then ,this is supposed to be fun for everybody , please guys no sensation Im trying to do good thing here there is no reason to poop all over this you screw it up for everybody .Who in a right mind thinks that I want to still you $10 and run to Canada joining TKO and hes stolen F14 perhaps, also as far as board rules If you want MTS can host the lottery however this will change nothing You can learn lots about me is it worth your $10
Any way I was thinking about rules

1 if you are worry about how legitimate is the lottery DONT PLAY !
2 every 10 new participants I will publish list of who is in, on forum for everybody to see
3 I dont think we have to worry about time limits we have at list 15 people right now and with MTS contribution all we need is 35 so 50 tickets is a magic number however let say in two weeks we did not get quorum there are two options we dissolve lottery and I refund money or we will jump to $15 or $20 per ticket it will be up to you participants to vote on
4 I will broadcast on YouTube ticket picking for every member to see
5 before drawing participants will have to approve list
I think this is fair ,sorry for my broken English
