I will try making the moulds toward the end of next week.

I took off the Easter weekend to make the prototype.

I have about 4 more orders to fill with other orders and I will get back on this. Then I will get back on the Indy side car.

I am thinking about $15 for the shield and turret ring and about $35-$40 for the turret and shield .

I totally reworked the 21st turret ring. It probably would have been easier to just cut off the turret hatch hinges and placed on the back rather than the way I did it.

Is the turret hatch a must have for the turret or can you guys go with out ?

Also should I offer castings of the .50 cal and granade launcher ? I figure that you all will just use your own.

Any input on making the weapons ?

I don't have a GL or a .50 cal, so I would buy castings of each. Im not even sure how to get them. Im fine without a turret hatch too.

Funds willing, Id pay for two of the shields. How much do you think we'd be looking at for the Mark 19 and the M2 if you made them?

I am not sure how does $8 sound for the .50 cal and $10 for the granade launcher ?

Looks like it, one of the humvees pictured is a BBI one. The one with the ARMY logo on the hood.

Yes it does fit on the BBI Humvee.

Margras 77 is correct the Humvee with ARMY is a BBI.

I designed them to fit on both. I am not sure of the FOV. I do not have one of those.

Maybe that is why I do not have one

But I made sure that these will fit on the BBI and 21st.

What do you guys think of me doing a front grill for the 21st. It does not have the typical Hummer style and I think it would look better.

Honestly, I don't care much for the grill. I WOULD however buy some up-armored plates, like the ones over the windows on this humvee depending on the cost :)

I just started making the moulds today !!!

I have had problems trying to get a Stuka custom kit out. I was having problems with my vacume plug for the canopy. That went from bad to worse but I finally got a handel on it.

With all of that behind me I could start pouring the shield tomorrow and start making the mould for the turret.

I will make the hatch cover ( it will fold in half and be operational) and I need to make the cover for the tow socket like the orriginal.

I am also going make some granade launcher ammo boxes to put on the side of the turret as an extra.

I hope to have some production pics up tomorrow.

When I get a wrap on this project I will switch over to the Indy side car. Then for my long long awaited Firefly mod.

The bottom picture is of the Raytheon SLAMRAAM (formerly known as CLAWS when the marines were interested). Surface Launched AMRAAM Missile system. Im actually a test engineer on the program right now. Last summer the Army told us to stop test with the hummer platform and redesign the system onto an FMTV vehicle, so you'll never see it on a Hummer again. But it is was cool driving down the road with 4 inert missiles on the rails :-)

I poured about 3 sets of shields and the BBI turret ring today in between working my long honey-do list.

They all came out great !!!!! So I think that $15 for that kit is good.

So if you want that short kit I can take orders on that now :D :D :D

You get the shield turret ring and pintle. Supply your own weapon.

I will be supplying the weapons for this custom fitted. A little later on during production.

I will have the turret ready this week.
