What should the Series 2 F-14 be?

Post by Jericoeagle1 » Sat Dec 12, 2009 4:54 pm

So what should the next F-14 Squadron be? Personally I'd like a Sundowner's High-Vis scheme.

VF-41 Black Aces or VF-154 PREFERABLY FINAL CRUISE SCHEMES(which the mold is accurate for), WITH LANTIRN and LGB's. Possibly a TARPs pod.

Don't know if a late model A was ever dressed up as Vandy 1 but that would be an awesome scheme too.
Shin's wishlist for 1/18 and 1/32 with retractable landing gear and more:

F-14 Tomcat, F-8 Crusader, A-4 Skyhawk, F-105 Thunderchief, A-6 Intruder, F-15C, F-15E Strike Eagle

It will be successful as long as it is this.
Kind of like the "any color so long as it's black" line.

I built a 1/32 Revell Wolfpack Tomcat back in 1985. I remember this bird fondly.

But I'd still love to have a low-vis Bombcat.

How about Flat Gray, Blank. Nothing on it. Supply the Decals, we'll take care of the rest.
