interesting, I've only bought 1 "custom" plane, the Me 163. I'd have to be employed before I send out big bucks.

Side note: Only one plane ever really looked great with the sharknose/teeth artwork and that was the P-40B. The rest look dorky. JMO

I've heard $500 for the kit, $700 range for a fully assembled and painted one.

FAR TOO much for me.

I am not paying that for even a "custom" JSI F-14,in different squadron.

Well my take on this is that from the pics I have seen of PWP 's work is that they are a little rough. I am not sure if they are building there prototype or start up . Or are they going by way of the 3-D pritinting that some are using now.

This may be the wave of the future.

But a lot of people get ideas of doing things and when it comes down to actually doing it , it is not as easy as first thought.

I suffer from this as well. I think that this may be a pipe dream project. If not . GREAT !!!

But it is too pricey for me even if it were at $100 just not a plane that I am personally interested in. :?

There are none and they don't have a website either.

That's good for business! In today's world you need a website, it doesn't have to be fancy: a name, business description and contact info.

Not to start anything but who made the crappy mustang? was that PWP or skyworks? I cant remember which company used to mod 21st but would have bad seam lines etc.

Old Crow looks pretty sharp. 8)

I'd be interested in one of PWP's F-100s, but the possible price scares me a bit.

That one actually looks pretty good, but someone had posted a modded mustang awhile back that came from PWP or skyworks (dont remember which company) and it was horrible. Anybody else remember that post and who the company was?

You're right. Chunks posted some pics of a Mustang and RAF Hellcat (IIRC) that are no longer available:

FYI for you guys: PWP and SkyWorks have had nothing to do with each other. PWP is owned by a good friend of mine who has without a question the largest collection of 1:18 and 1:6 models in the US. He started doing some customs to make some extra $$ to fund his collection. His early Hellcats were not great but His latest stuff has been quite nice.

Regarding the F-100: I should have the prototype in hand next week and plan to post pictures. It is looking like we will enlist the talented folks at Skyworks to produce the F-100. If all goes well you will see a super detailed F-100 with plug in metal gear, pitot tube, refueling probe, and a full set of weapons. At this point we plan to have it available as a kit and in finished form.

I find it a little unfair that some of you are so critical of early work by Skyworks and PWP. Customizing or modeling is all about progression.
If we look at Skyworks early work almost three years ago it is nowhere in the same ballpark as what they make today. Same goes with you Matthew, the progression of your work has changed quite a bit over the past couple years.

Any idea what the pricing would be on the F-100 in kit form? I understand if you can't say anything yet, I just figured I would throw out that question.

No idea really......Once we get it in Jacks hands we will have a better idea.

this is why i am so anxiuous to see it :

The F 100 were based in DJIBOUTI (AFRICA) at the end of th 70's and i've heard some incredible stories of French Fighter pilots breaking the sound barrier over the town of N'DJAMENA to stop some riots and ripping their drop tanks in the desert by flying ultra low level !!!!!!
