ther is a nice "chippy ho!" repaint of the BBI F 18 ! (the red "remove before flight" stuff sur looks cool !)

can't wait to have an F 18 here in France !

WHoa! That's an awesome repaint. I can't figure out if it's official or not. They have a NICE Blue Angel F-18 in the site which makes me thing it's a custom paint (since the Blue Angel on that site has missiles and the official Blue Angel repaint was retooled as most of you know with the sidewinder missiles taken out).

2 different Austrailian schemes
USN Blue Angels
Night Fighter (all Black)

I'm pretty sure we have seen those pics before on another thread.
They look good, especially the Chippy Ho with it's accessories.

I've been thinking about getting an F-18 ever since I got my F-16 Wednesday. It's to bad its only a custom and not a prototype.

about the black F-18 being an official bbi release. Always exciting to find a new plane.

I just recieved the two hornets from Australia. They are definately a bbi release not a custom repaint.

So who sells the black one

I don't think it ever came out and don't know if it ever will. Sort of like the camo apache - they showed it but I don't think it was released, and at this point I don't know why it would be.....

They only had 4 at Comic Con, and I believe all 4 were sold. They were said to be the only 4 ever that would be sold and are true Comic Con exclusives.
