Does anyone have any info on the new FOV 1/24 RC King Tiger and MLRS due this month?

GOOGLYDOOGLY:

Thanks for the link.
I was hoping the new 1/24 King Tiger might have a similar paint scheme to the FOV 1/16 Peiper King Tiger, but unfortunately...

Also, isn't that Clint Eastwood on the back of the Sherman?

Are those expensive? Never seen them before that I can think of but seem nice.

They're kinda expensive, at $90-$110.00 But if you fancy doing some backyard tank battles, it's worth the money, IMHO.

GI546, could you pick a smaller avatar? That thing's so big, it's pushing the posts on the side.

Thanks Googly... I was thinking of customizing the MLRS for something but not at that scratch.

I know this is an ancient topic.

Well, I stuck my foot out and stepped in it for sure. Saw an auction on Shopgoodwill.com for a lot of three of these 1/24 RC tanks. I had seen some at hobby town for about $129.

There was only a couple minutes left and the price was still not too high so I threw in a token bid for curiosity and was outbid, so I did another and was suddenly high bidder. Well I expecting to get blown away by snipers at the last second by $100 or more since there were so many bids, so I refreshed as the clock ticked down and it ended. Someone pecked away at my high but didn't beat it so I won at $81 plus $14 shipping. I have no idea why the lot went so cheap. Last thing I need is to get hooked on these things.

AGH!! That's what I'm afraid of....

But at about $32 with the shipping a piece, what the heck.
