What should the next custom 1/18 scale aircraft be ? Poll 1

Post by pickelhaube » Wed Sep 02, 2009 7:25 pm

As stated before I am gun shy of doing the A-10 right now. I am in the wait and see mode until JSI gets there wish list together.

I think rather than doing strait armor from now on I will do aircraft as well. I will go back and forth aircraft then armor.

The Sdkfz 222 will be next after I get caught up on my back order projects.

All of these canadates will be full kits wings and all except the Mig -17 I will try to do that using the Mig -15 ( if I can ).

Also I will make these in XD style. Maybe painted maybe not. I will try to keep the cost down as always so the average collector can afford it.

ONE OF THESE WILL BE MY NEXT AIRCRAFT PROJECT.

Comments are welcome or if you like you can pm me or email me.

Wildcat for me. Don't know how you'd do the gear though.

Lots of tough choices. I would personally like to see the FW-190A - however the ME-163 would be an easier model and the price would be a bit lower. It could also be painted easily enough by a modeler, so PH would not have to do that, either

Would love to see a Fw190A. Maybe you could get that langing gear looking good that 21st did such a terrible job with Pickle. Both the Me-163 Komet and F-4 Wildcat would be sweet too. I would buy 1 of each which ever you make.

Uh oh.....

It looks like the Me-163 is edging the Spitfire.

I was kind of hoping the clipped wing/ trop Spitfire would be on the top. :D

i think you should run a second poll with just the top two finishers in a few days; it would give the best idea of what people want.

I didn't vote komet because i feel it's very likely to be made in the next few years...the spitfire is very doubtful however.

PM me

Also I can not believe that the Wildcat is close to the bottom of the list.

I have also been kicking around the idea of doing the Spitfire float plane for a while now.

That would look the coolest. :D

if you want to do a floatplane do a Rufe conversion some day for the zero, which is still readily available.

FW-190A would be my choice followed by the tropical Spit.

i have to agree with aferson, that a rufe floatplane would be a good choice, simply for the fact that they are readily available at the present time. regards&later SCUDRUNER[/b]

The Wildcat was a very close 2nd for me, right behind the 163.
