The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

Does it count if we post here, or only on the forum which JSI have seen fit to communicate with about this matter?

JSI is considering armour? Some of those choices, in all categories, seem like fantasy wish list items, to me. You sure this isn't somebody's idea of a joke?....seems way to good to be true. Also, strange lack of WWII aircraft.

My helicopter list is sideways, not horizontal.....ie all are number one with me.

I can tell you this is a legit question of demand for these items.

It's not a promise or guarantee or anything, but hopefully enough interest in a few pieces can get the ball rolling.

The list comes straight from JSI and Merit to The Fighting 1:18th. Birddog brought the list to all you fine folks to get your opinions. If possible hold a vote and send the most popular back to the fighting 1:18th and we'll get the list back up to merit and JSI.

Thanks for the info Paul. Although I am stumped on the 'sewing circle' name, and I'm not a member there, I must say well done in setting up a line of communication between JSI and hobbyists. :D

well, we could run a poll on each category, but that doesn't seem to be what JSI wants. They want everyone to rank the choices in order and then submit a compiled list....which a poll can't do, as it just reflects the number one overall choices.

So, if we could get a volunteer to compile all the seperate lists into one list, then we can submit that to TF1/18th and they can then submit it to JSI with their own results.

* JSI wishlist ?

Post by MG-42 » Sat Aug 29, 2009 6:30 am

* I had already submitted a list of possible WWII AFV pieces that I'd like to see , to a JSI representative , introduce exclusively in 1:18 , earlier this month , around the 15th. They still want to do something different for everybody ,..

........ but they really want to focus on the modern era.

* This was his response :
Dear Mitch,

Thanks for taking time to make this proposal to us and we do appreciate it.

For your suggestions, I have forwarded to our CMO and management and they will discuss about the possibilities of those items.

As you known, there are too many 1/18 WW2 products in the market, so we would like to develop more modern military items to impact the market.

However, we know there are many collectors are WW2 fans like you, so we will still develop some new WW2 items to fulfill their needs.

For the figure issue, we know there are many hting that we have to improve. We are working on this and hope you will like the figures that we produce later.

Anyway, I hope you won't mind our marketing plan and keep supporting us.

Thanks a lot!

Kind regards,

...."there are too many 1/18 WW2 products in the market"... :? That's news to me. I'm not knocking modern but its my feeling that WWII outsells it.
I wish them luck.
