NEW PAPPY'S CORSAIR

Post by Buckyroo » Fri Aug 21, 2009 5:45 am

I am sorry if this has been posted before by the people that recieved the new JSI Pappy's Corsair when they first came out. But, I just got one in a trade with AMERICAN_GRENADIER and I was amazed by the entire presentation. The package is first class all the way. The history and information printed on the package is very refreshing to see. the box displayed the Corsair so nicely that I had intended to keep this one boxed up. But, then I broke down and removed the plane to put it together. I am sure glad I did. I really like the finish of the plane. The weathered paint and accented details. This Corsair is solidly in my top five of the ones I own. I can't wait to see more from JSI. The quality of the entire product (box and plane) are pulling me towards getting the P-38 and F-14, too.

Again, I am sorry if this is a repeat of items covered by earlier posters, but I was so impressed, I had to post. :D

Yeah I got to see the JSI Corsair up close and personal at SDCC and I was really impressed.

If I had the room for more WWII air power I'd certainly pick one up!

I've seen the JSI Corsiars, boxed, at my local Hobbytown USA store and agree with the general consensus that the paint work is fantastic. There were few if any serious flaws and the plane looked great over all. Too bad it is on the 8-year-old 21c Corsair mould and not the superior BBI version
