21c figures

Post by Stug45 » Mon May 18, 2009 4:42 am

tko211 said that if we knew what figures 21c were going to make we would cry, i really would like to know what figs they were going to make. I hope JSI or BBI or FOV buys the molds we need new figs.

I don't think I could handle the pain. I don't want to know, about the falschimjager with removable harness and working shoot, the MG Team, Panzer Aces, Field Marshall Rommel, Fighter Aces, Stalingrad Germans, German Snipers, British Paratroopers, The mighty 8th, and the Ruskies.

I don't think I would cry, but I would be very disappointed if I discovered they were going to make Italians.

I'm curious... I'm sure many new nationalities were on tap. Russians and British I imagine were being considered, as probably were some N. Africa GI's or Brits, maybe another wave of Germans in shorts or some such. I'd not be surprised.

21st Century Releases

Post by PanzerArm » Mon May 18, 2009 11:19 pm

I don't remember hearing anything about 1/18 stuff, but I do recall some 1/32 british paras that I was really looking forward to. Too bad they'll never see the light of day.

As I'm crying about this, I'm also reminding myself that even IF 21C were to release the new 'secret' figures...I probably wouldn't be able to find them in my area anyways...

I'm wondering how much of JSI is actually old 21st staff - I mean it makes sense-
21 in order to survive would need to leave the country
1. less taxes - no US taxes
2. less production cost
3. liquidate the US warehouses (probably not the best Idea as the market is flooded) but it helped short term
4. would be easier to make more limited edition paint schemes on every model
5. with joining with owners of F-15, F14 models they can better compete with BBI

that was just my first thought -
