I guess maybe I can be judgmental. I know none of my stuff will ever win any scale contests but I try to get it as close to scale as I can.

I can not see one thing right with it.

The gun is 1/16 scale sitting in a 1/18 scale turret . I guess that is were he has the 1/16 part in the heading. The turret joints have big gaps in it were they should be crisp lines. The front of the turret is wrong and his ambush paint job is nothing I have ever seen. The dots are HUGE.
He does have a nice weather on it though.

I am sure he will sell it and at a pretty penny.

still, that's one of his better efforts.

Gun looks goofy big being 20% oversize.

I'd bid $60 just for the panzer iv chassis.

Not knowing much about armor unless I read it here  (I'm an airplane guy :))

I don't know though, with him tootin' his own horn about how good he is, he sure gets a lot of inaccuracies.

For what he's asking for it, it is a very poor example, the average modeler could buy a 1/16 RC Panzer and do this conversion and have something alot better at half the cost.

Thanks man. But it is different than mine. In some way easier but the general consincess was do a Wirbelwind rather than an Ostwind.

I think Zelda was the only guy who said he wanted a Ostwind.

Jboys creations always seem to be off in a lot of ways . BUT HE SELLS THEM AT BIG PRICES.

I don't get it.

Well, I'll be brutely honest, it's a hack job. It might be suitable for someone's own collection, but don't try to pass it off on ebay for that kind of dough.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that - it DOES have tracks on it. Beyond that, however... It just looks really really horsey (a term I usually reserve for really bad document layouts, but it fits here, too).

* It's a good concept but definitely not for the price.

........ the ambush scheme is a bit off and looks like he copied it from BDU camo the SS used.

............... not worth it !
