OK I got it.

Somebody made an attempt to do a custom. Did not like the way it turned out and he took it back to Wal-mart. All wraped up nice and neat in the tie wires.

They took it back and this guy picked it up. This has happend in the past and hear is the proof that it can happen now..

I think this plane will be a big dissapointment for whomever purchases it. I doubt the wing will match-up, and the fuselage appears to be very, very "rough". This thing looked better IN THE BOX to me.

I think a fool and their money will soon part.

This guy sells a bunch of model and is listed as a hobbie store of sorts. So to a custom is not a stretch. I am not saying that this guy is lying, but just pointing out that there is some evidence to make one sit up and think about this one. I wish the pictures were better.

For someone who runs a hobby store, you'd think they'd know the difference between a corsair and...anything else. There's a freakin picture of it on the box! Somehow 2+2=5!?

Yes, but his appearance on his ebay picture doesn't seem too promising for anything approaching an intellectual level, let alone common sense :P

Man, makes one wonder why he can't figure out what he has in hand. Is it possible to reach through the computer monitor, slap him and ask "Don't you know what the hell a Corsair is?"

I have a friend here in town that might have been responsible for this custom. He told me that he attempted a Bearcat some years ago and sold it along with some other XD planes because he needed money. He also has a pretty convincing T-38. Hope this helps with the mystery. I would like to recon for you guys but my daughter has spring break this week and I'm the bus driver.

Holy cow. If that guy really did just happen upon this at a retailer, and put it on ebay without a clue what was up, how lucky is he to make what he did! $150 for that POS! Someone must of really wanted a half custom freak job that won't even fit together. I just hope they don't take it out on the seller's feedback when they get what they paid for. That is as long as the seller really didn't have anything to do with it.

Wow, what a hack job. Have fun trying to fit the Corsair Wings that came with that Frankencrap fuselage. Poor bidder.

The fact that this miserable piece of crap had any interest at all just goes to show how desperate 1/18 collectors are for ANYTHING.

Looks like a F2G, the super corsair. I believe only 10 production planes were built. Just search the internet with super corsair and it will bring up some photos.

That thing is horrible.

Look at the center section behind the fuse, that is all Corsair.
