Do you have any pics of the 3/4 tarp painted?
Are both the full and 3/4 20.00 each plus shipping?

No , not yet but I will give a set to Scott so he can do a paint master.

What would you rather see new medium or faded ?

Yep , the same price for each $20 plus about $5-$6 for shipping on average.

$10 extra for fully painted. Per unit.

I can combine shipping

Thanks Razor,

But I was surprised that there was not a lot of interest in me painting these tops.

I have only sold one painted. :?

I think you have a unique item.
But without a picture of the finished product (Full Top and 3/4 top), it's hard for people to visualize what the item will look like.

Can I see a show of hands for those who are interested in the 251 backdate ?

As I recall this was almost 100% done ready to make molds but got bumped for another project.

I am starting to work with another guys who is a caster and I can very well pass this off to him so he can get the ball rolling as I try and finish the JT project.

Go to page 3 to view the 251 mod.

You know what ? I never gave it much thought .

How does $40-$50 sound ?

In the kit will be :

Clam shell doors
Working hinges
" D " pull handle
Front armor covers
2 tool long boxes
Head lamp and Notec light
Misc pioneer tools
Rear body
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

Here is the old 251 post , might as well keep using it.

Man look at all of the votes when people were interested in 1/18 looks like most of these guys have moved on.

Doing my best to keep this hobby alive.

Some advice Mathew, Many people wont mix armor scales when it comes to tanks and we all know its for good reason- but, many 1/16 collectors including myself still collect soft skin stuff like trucks and cars in 1/18 because the size is less and less noticeable as you get to smaller and smaller stuff as we all know. This is also the case for these halftracks. Many 1/16 collectors still collect these Sd.Kfz 251s so maybe you should reach out to the 1/16 community also and let them know you will be making these custom kits.

I will take one of any of these kits you make as I will never switch out my halftracks and smaller stuff like I did the actual armor, if any they make my armor that much more impressive! :D

I had a chance to pull out the 251 backdate and gave it a once over to see what it lacks before finishing.

I need to make the left and right head light supports
rework the Notek support
mount pioneer gear
make a pick ax

This thing is real close to finishing !!!
