A Great Find

Post by B-29 » Mon Jan 12, 2009 8:49 pm

I was at Hub Hobby today and was very suprised at their selection of 1/18. They had multiple BBD and Flying Undertaker mustangs, ME-262s, Me-262 Nightfighters, 109Gs, all the F-104s, Walker Buldogs, a Patton tank, a PAK-40, some halftracks and some Stukas. I don't think Ive ever seen so much 1/18 stocked! On the top shelf they had an Eileen and a Galland 109! I asked for a price on the 109, they told me $30! A great way to start the year!

That price was just on the Galland 109 because of some significant dents in the box. The rest was at normal price. Had everything been that cheap, I would have cleaned them out.[/quote]

Fantatstic price! Goes to show that good deals are still lurking around on the older items.
