Too late for that my wallet is looking to file for divorce.

This place is great you will be seeing me around the 1/18 mostly. i just wish i Knew about this place earlier.

I am kind of new to the 1/18 scale I got restarted with the 25th GI Joe Line about a two years ago. I just discovered about a year ago the beauties of BBI and 21st so more or less i am noob to it all and playing catch up but i love it!

I already have 2 Pave hawks, 2 apaches, 5 little Birds, 1 SuperCobra (looking For another), 3 abrams, 2 SuperHumvees, 1 Kiowa and a bunch of GI JOE 25th like 4 rattlers, 7 HISS TANKS, 2 Conquest, 5 trouble bubbles 200+ troops and some other stuff and have become friends of MJ from Marauders INC. Some of the collections here are really just amazing!

I wish Everett was still doing custom work.
The last time I talked with him (2011), it was about the Sturmgeschütz IV he had made.
I wanted to order a few kits...and then his worked stopped.

Definitely sorry to hear all that bad news. I used to love getting to talk with Everett and buying stuff from him, just a great gentleman. Please send my regards when you get a chance to talk to him again.

No offence, but I think that it is not proper to publicly channel gossip regarding personal problems, hard times or family affairs that a forum member might face, especially if these info were confidentially confessed into a closed friendly circle only and supposed to stay within four walls.

OK, my mistake. I just didn't feel nice to read about other people's family misfortune been revealed & publicly discussed. I do not understand, why embarrassing info such as "his wife left him" and "his daughter got preggers" should be public and how this intel could promote the quality of our hobby. I say again, no offense but I am not used to see friend-to-friend confidential discussions leaking.

Sometimes it's not about the 'quality of our hobby', it's about the relationships formed among those who share interests, backgrounds, and a place to find people who might understand when others don't. There have been many times members have posted about good or bad in their lives, not as 'gossip' but just passing on information, as anyone would do among friends.

Talk about getting off of subject !!

I have known the Hun for over 10 years .

We have worked on several projects in the past . I would spend weekends at his house ( he is about a 5 hour drive north of me ) .

Our kids would play together our wives would hang out , both of them are nurses . And of course we would work on our projects .

I got to know his dad well along with his wife and kids . They came down her a few times as well .

We became great friends .

It has saddend me the things that has happened to him these past years because I know all of his family

By no means was I spreading gossip . A bunch of people have missed him and wonder why he got out of the hobby . These are the sad reasons .

And by stating them people will understand.

G'day Matthew. You do not need to explain anything ,but some of the Older Board Members appreciate the Up-Date. I asked the question where were a couple of older Members were and you were gracious enough to let us know and a newer Member comes in lock stock and two smoking barrels . We are all Mates here and a big Friendly Family, lets keep it that way. Thanks for the up-date on Hun. 8) (sorry to get off subject,i got a bit worked up lol)
