Advance Warning - 1/18 Figures

Post by dandaman » Sat Nov 01, 2008 2:58 pm

I am giving you all advance warning. I will be taking a road trip, hitting the southern states, and checking out every WalMart, ToysRUs, Target, and KMart along the way. These are the figures I will be clearing out:

-Any Wehrmacht XD 2-Packs
-Any D-Day XD 2-Packs
-Any Indy Vogels
-Any Star Wars Death Star Troopers

I mean it. These figures will be GONE. Get your figures while you can. I'm stocking up for the holidays and money is no object.

You weren't supposed to disclose the Allen location yet! That was our secret!

You remind me of General Sherman, Dandaman! Marching across the South and looting it of its goods. You might want to burn a few of the Wal Marts (as well as Atlanta and Savannah) while your at it

No worries for around here - though I could use you coming through at least a couple of my local Wal Marts in Central California and snagging the rest of the D-Day figures that have been there for a year

The mind is the limit. As long as the mind can envision the fact that you can do something, you can do it, as long as you really believe 100 percent.

If they don't sell, I trade you them for some Otto Wilndorf S2 or S3. I bought 10 of the dual packs but my wife was like WTF! So, I couldn't keep them all.

Just out of curiosity, what was the retail price for the dual packs?

Can't they see?

Post by dandaman » Mon Nov 03, 2008 6:39 pm

Can't 21st Century Toys see what's going on with the XD 2-packs? Can't they see that we love them? And that we will go wild over them in the stores?

I'm sure they notice what sells and what doesn't, but the big question is what they eventually do with that info.

I don't think 21st has any control over what happens to its products once it leaves China. None of the wals in my AO sell 21st stuff and the TRU seem to sell 1:48th, 1:32nd and as far as XD goes they all have the same DAK figure.... the one with the MP-40. One had 27 of them at one time.
