Oh the Humanity
Not sure if I am a hoarder or collector. The pics tell the tale.

Whoa dude.... and I thought I had a lot of stuff, but I'm a serious lightweight compared to you my friend.... you should have your own store for pete sake... Hey Pickel... is that a scratch built 1/6 scale M3A3/Pak 40 of the Yugoslav 1st Tank Brigade that I see in the second photo...?? It's partially obscured in the photo, but the Yugoslav flag looked like a pretty good indication...??Not sure if I am a hoarder or collector. The pics tell the tale.

It sure is . It is one cool looking tank. That was my first 21st custom. That big Pak on the tiny Stuart looks evil.ostketten wrote:Whoa dude.... and I thought I had a lot of stuff, but I'm a serious lightweight compared to you my friend.... you should have your own store for pete sake... Man, that is awesome Pickel... It probably wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that it is one of a kind, I mean aside from the fact that you scratchbuilt it, I doubt there are many like it (if any) in existence... I'm thinking big $$ on ebay if you should ever decide to part with it. I briefly considered doing one of these in 1/32, and probably will someday. Great work though, I would love to see some better shots of it sometime...It sure is . It is one cool looking tank. That was my first 21st custom. That big Pak on the tiny Stuart looks evil.

If I get the time I will do a few pics of it Sunday. I have actualy 14 21st Stuart tanks. I at one time wanted to do almost every version of it. But the only one that I have done is the Pak/M3A3 import. I have a Honey half way started as well but moved on to other projects.ostketten wrote:Man, that is awesome Pickel... You are a collector. Unless you are unwilling to BST out of your stash. Then you are a HOARDER!

.
You know, some of us (even with alot) still dont have a snake stuka, ttt, spinach 109, sam payton p38, winter 109, etc. Only a true XD god would have these and more and be willing to repaint and modify such without regard to scarcity, real or imagined. thanks for reminding us that all our planes are the same inside awaiting repainting at one time or another.

Thanks guys. I got all of this stuff when collecting was fun. There was a lot of stuff out there now things have dried up and nobody is making anything . Except customizers. I will not beat a dead horse. I think customizers are the ones keeping this hobby alive in 1/18 scale. I know , I know custom stuff is EXSPENSIVE.
I will try and post some more of my stuff on Sunday. Yes there is more stuff.

Yeah, I feel the same way. That's a lotta what lead me to 1/6 a coupla years ago now. Airstrike Toys is one that I really wish to get more of. I'm just still reserving too much space for the announced Dauntless, Spad, Phantom, Mitchell, and MiG-21.pickelhaube wrote:Thanks guys. I got all of this stuff when collecting was fun.
