Another Russian Poll.

Post by pickelhaube » Sun Oct 12, 2008 10:00 am

OK, maybe I was a little narrow minded with my last poll. I do like the Mig-3. But there were other popular Rusky planes as well. Here is a chance to voice your opionion of the Russian planes that fought in the east.
It would be nice to have all of these in 1/18 scale . But I think the reality is that this may never happen. It would be cool though.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

Sturmovic still. Tactically more important than all the others, numerically superior also. Looks cool, too!

Stormovik is my number 1 choice. I would take ANY russian plane though. My custom P-40 russian plane needs a wingman of some sort!

I agree, Ilyushin II-2 Stormovik
The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.

My number one choice anyday would be the sturmovik. Just think of all the variants that could be made. 8)

Jee Whiz I guess almost everybody wants the Stormy. It is such an ugly plane . But it did help us win against those misguided goose steppers.
