DAK Dual Packs

Post by dandaman » Sat Apr 19, 2008 2:39 pm

I don't think anyone has answered these questions.

1) Where are people buying these?

2) What is the retail price of a dual pack?

I got my 2 DAK dual packs off of Evil bay paid for 'em too $15.99 plus shipping. But don't be fooled if you want different heads, they are some of the same heads as on other figures :( When I bought the 10 German/ US and German/German dual packs at WM, they were $8.96 each. Da General

I got a flood of SS Grenadier Twinpack here...well no SS ruins on them, but if you know your insignia the ranks on the collars speak for themselves....have not see a single DAK here yet in a twinpack or single as of the moment.

I could use a few more of the SS 2 packs as well, for some customs.

I found the DAK and the Vietnam duel packs yesterday at Wallys in Waverly Ohio. I nearly fainted when I stepped into thier toy isle. They had the Russians from Crystal skull, all 3 of them. The duel packs and the newest wave of Joes as well. Some guy had all the joes laid out in his groc cart and I thought he was going to get all of them but I think he was just trying to decide which ones he wanted/needed etc. I did get the Hiss driver though. Them Joes are getting expensive. 7.34w/tax The duel packs were only 8.98 I think. Never the less, tankgirl hooked me up with my new figures. Do any of you guys know how many duel packs are actually out? I was wondering myself, but I can't seem to find any pictures of them on the net. Anyway, that's my take on the duel packs. Hopefully we get them in columbus as well. :)

Must be nice...

Post by dandaman » Sun May 11, 2008 9:15 am

Must be nice to walk into a WalMart and see some 2 packs.

I visited one WalMart where I knew they were going to restock, and lo and behold they filled the pegs with 4 complete sets of Platoon figures.

You know those won't be moving any time soon. I might visit that particular WalMart again in about 6-8 months...but even then the Platoon guys will probably still be there!

If I'm not mistaken, there's a Nam 2-pack, the DAK 2-pack, the SS D-Day 2-pack, and the U.S./German D-Day 2-pack... ANd that was it I thought, but I'm not positive on that either.

I've not seen the DAK so I'll be watching for that one. Nam... Not so much unless it's got nice new headsculpts in it.

The other night at WM I found the new German Rifleman w/prone headsculpt, and the DAK MP-40 soldier. I pretty much cleaned 'em out as I could use some new riflemen. Too bad no field cap though, that's disappointing as I'd love more hats than helmets right now to give to some of my Battle of the Bulge Germans.

Anyway, today I picked up the last 2 US/German 2-packs at my WM as I had some scratch, and I got another SS 2-pack as well.

I haven't spotted any dual paks of any kind anywhere in my AO (Northern, CA). Pretty much have given up on looking for these.
