I am totally down for that German officer, Dr. Jones Sr. and (as an Eagle Scout myself) Indiana as a Boy Scout 8)

I am thinking the knight may go nicely with the FOV historical line. The evil Nazi Archaeologess is rather curvy. I don't think her bosom will allow her to fit through a Panzer hatch. And if that belt/girdle lets go it could get dangerous.

Indiana Jones toys are slated to ship the end of April beginning of May... Raiders of the Lost Ark is the first to hit pegs though. Not sure if KotCS figures will have a set street date then that they'll be put out and the Raiders figures sort of act like a "sneak preview" wave... Or if Raiders will ship with KotCS and be available at the same time? That's entirely possible.

The wait won't be too long though. ;)

I'm curious... Not that anyone necessarilly has a Hitler figure, but I've heard of customs of him... Will you have him posed signing the grail diary accessory? I'd love an Indy in German Officer uniform for that scene/sequence where he was getting the diary back. Hitler's not getting a figure any time soon, but that'd be the way to display it.

Yeh! But give her Indy's whip and she can be an SS She Wolf! Some of you will remember that movie! And you can create a whole different Dio!

Those figures will be a great addition! Can't wait!

This wave looks GREAT, but I'm still disappointed that no Marcus figure is on tap.

It looks like Vogel does not have a swastika on his armband and I can't say I'm remotely surprised.

I do wonder when this "Crusade" wave will hit. I know Raiders is coming right away in May and I'd expect "Crystal Skull" to come out if not immediately than very shortly thereafter.

All that's left to be revealed for 08 I guess is the "Temple of Doom" wave.

And, of course, any potential deluxe figures or 2 packs. There are a TON for "Raiders", so I'd be surprised if we didn't see more for at least "Crystal Skull" if not the other films.

It's very likely that we will see a Marcus figure with this wave, seeing that he was a major character in the film. If I'm not mistaken the waves usually come in 7's and they didn't show all seven, so maybe we'll get lucky. :D

I wish they would issue the flying wing from "Raiders". That would be cool.

I agree on the flying wing  You've got a picture of the 1:64 scale (approx.) Disney version with a new paintjob, correct markings and weathering. I own one and it is simply a cool-looking little toy. I'm sure that if Hasbro made one it would be underscaled and have some funky features, but then they could turn around a give 21c a run for their money with a 1:18th scale plane

In a recent on-line Q&A, Hasbro said they are definitely considering making a Flying Wing, but that they'd have to do it at a $20 price point.

So, yeah, the sucker would most certainly be underscaled....

I will take an underscale flying wing. I'll use the ME-109E midget pilot to fly it! :D

Don't count on Marcus for the TLC wave... Rumor lists didn't put him down, though an Indy was absent from the photos that Hasbro Toy Shop listed. Marcus may come in a later wave, tough to say... Hasbro's already got one dull old man character in Dr. Henry Jones Sr. though, so two in one wave is a risk on their part.

Raiders wave is expected to be the initial wave, and should start showing up the first of May... It's assumed the Crystal Skull figures will ship shortly there-after in some kind of large promotional display in toy aisles then, and that the Raiders wave will act as sort of a "preview" wave that gets absorbed into the Crystal Skull displays...

Of course, they could all show up at once in one large display too. You never know.

The Temple of Doom Wave has pictured only the Large Thuggee that Indy fist-fights so far... The Last Crusade wave is pretty well wrapped up according to the rumor mill though...

There are more deluxe and vehicles rumored as well, including a German Bike w/Side car (and figures), etc. So there is more to come, and I think there's some big reveals planned for San Diego Comic-Con later in the year. ;)

I'm hoping for some playsets as Indy's more a playset-focus line compared to others... The wing would be cool but it'll be horridly underscale. I'd like to see the WWI tank first but that too could come out underwhelming.

I think the truck, German off-road car, and cycle turned out great though.

A reader at our site got some items at a big box retailer and snapped a pic for us... Leaks at smaller non-toy stores are almost expected, but but not at the bigger retailers. That's a big no-no to them.

Sounds like some of the paintjobs are as bad on production figures as they are on the prototype pictures, so I'd suggest looking through the pegs to find the best paintjob you can. If what you want has a couple figures for options.

Do you know if it was only the figs and not the vehicles that showed up early?

Just figures, and only Raiders figures... So far, all the credible reports (one from Rebelscum's affiliate and our story as they both have photo proof) have been just figures. Check the story out on our front page... We couldn't get into details for the retailer's sake, but suffice it to say some figures were "brought out" for the customer. ;)

May 1st is right around the corner... Can't wait.

There is a German motorcycle along with some of the figures up on e-bay, so someone somewhere has found these.

2 WM I normally stop at had the plan hanging for the Indiana Jones figures. It looks to be a pretty big display (16 pegs for 3.75" figs plus vehicles and deluxe figs). They will have to do alot of moving stuff around

I got my cycle right here. :D Best 1:18 $10 of the year. 2 Bruno Bauers is pretty good too. When the new camera charges I will post some pics.

The figure has a great headsculpt and is very detailed compared to the other IJ Germans but the bottom half of his jacket is fabric and the top half of him is all plastic which looks a bit weird. He has the MP-40 with the Kar pouches but I am used to that. I don't see a kick stand for his bike so not sure how it stands, but I do see a hole that looks ripe for a sidecar in the future.

Bike with sidecar showed on a rumor list Dig, and a reliable one, so I wouldn't be shocked if we see that before too long actually. Maybe in a "battlepack" assortment even.

I'm hoping then we get it repainted in DAK colors so I can give my DAK guys something to stand around with.

And yes, IJ figures will be sold at Target... Don't worry. They're in Target backrooms as we speak. ;)

It only makes sense they make the bike with sidecar for Indy and his father. It is that scene from Last Crusade they reference on the packaging.

I am still having camera problems which is annoying but I figure by tomorrow everyone should be able to pick these up anywhere toys are sold. A few more notes - the figure is smaller than fov/21C guys, likely more like 1:18. He has great articulation, in the arms like SW, with ball joint ankles. He also has a hole in his foot for a stand, though there is not one in the packaging and he does not fit on an fov or Dragon stand.

The MP-40 has a nice sling, leave it to hasbro to be the first to really pull this off. The pistol is over sized but there is a working holster (although also too big). It is a shame Lucas never made a huge WWII movie or we would have some awesome figures from Hasbro, with the best distribution since Budweiser.

Thanks for the pics Digger! I was really looking forward to this figure but now I am not so sure. His combo-material jacket looks...funky. :?
