The 21c planes, as a political correctness rule, normally didn't come with the swastikas already on the tail whether painted or decaled. Some of the German aircraft came with swastika decals when purchased from a small retailer, but again, not those same aircraft avaliable at mass retail.

What you may have found were returns from a collector possibly wanting to clear some space and make back a little cash...

Besides, the "Galland" ME-109E was not avaliable at mass retail stores, at least as far as I know. If memory serves, I don't recall boardmembers ever finding one there before now.

Nevertheless, you've made a great haul with those planes 8)

Tman nailed it. Those are returns. You ARE one lucky dog. And yes you hit the mother load and the guy who put the decals did a good job. If you want to part with them I will take em your hands. :D

Hey, Tman, I found the Galland 109 at a local walmart here, back in the day when the shelves were mainly full with black 109s. The only planes I've ever mail ordered were the 1st F-104, DWK and ZPA spit, 1st model BBD (can ya believe that sh_t by now?)

There was some discussion not to long ago about how spotty the distribution of the Galland 109 was. It didnt make it to the Mid West Plains states or the West Coast if I remember correctly. I bought the Desert Camo ME-109 from a local hobby shop and it had the Swastika decal inside the box.

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
