VMF, I actually liked your other avatar better - eveyone looks happy and excited, rushing out to find XD. In this new one, it looks like they are desperate and all but given up. Or is that the message you're trying to say?

Nope thats Grunt1's Avatar and yes they are desperate but they have not given up, they will find it even after death, thats how committed they are to the mission, death will not keep them from failing thier mission.

SO CLOSE:

UPDATE 11/21/06--About 3/4 of our 262 Preorders have been processed and ship tags prepped. Many orders will be begin shipping on 11/24/2006 directly from Admiral's warehouse in Texas--UPS/Admiral is currently dealing with a slight delay in the Dallas' US Customs. The rest of the Preorders (about 25%) will ship from our warehouse in California after our allotment makes its way west. We expect to have all orders processed and shipped by 12/1.

Does anyone know if Bad Cat will have any ME-262s to sell after the preorders are shipped out? I should have preordered one, I hope I can find one. :x

I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that the ME 262s are in our warehouse and will go out this afternoon. We have three UPS trailers being loaded as I type this. If you purchased from one of the retailers that asked us to drop ship for them, you should receive your model early next week. Unfortunately, UPS is not picking up or delivering on Friday. And for those of you whose retailer did not use our drop shipping option, you should soon receive your model. It first has to make its way to your retailer.

The bad news is that we are sold out! We had to prorate all retailers’ orders. I have spoken with many of our retailers today and explained the situation. Demand is just too high for this model. We have another shipment arriving. However, it will be several weeks before they are ready for delivery to our retailers and you.

If you have wanted this model and you see a retailer advertising next week that they still have models in stock, buy it! They will be out of stock very soon. Most of the retailers I spoke with today said they will have very few left after pre-orders are filled, and most will be sold out after pre-orders are filled.

That being said, I would encourage you to get back on the pre-order lists for the next shipment. We are already pretty deep with sales into that shipment as well.

Hope you enjoy the ME 262.
Regards,
Jason

Well, I hope this is a bumper crop for you guys at AT. I like to see the little guy do well. The pics I have seen of the bird make me glad I did my preorder, and I am looking forward to receiving it. Now, if you can let us in on what else is down the pipe I would be glad to know.

My guess would be that USPS shipped 262's are coming from the retailers.

Ahh OK, I'd preordered from BadCat and they're shipping USPS, so I guess that's where I was coming from.

VMF115,

We will hand inspect your model, and hopefully get it out today. If it does not go out today, it will be Friday.

Thank you for your order.

Jason

I'm getting a bit ansy since I ordered my 262 from Badcat this past weekend and I have yet to get any kind of shipping notification. I guess I'll be in the late group that has to wait and get it shipped from Badcat instead of the Admiral warehouse which is just a few hours up the road. :(

Me too!!!!!

I wonder what the pilot is going to look like, I also wonder if he will have an oxygen mask, no big deal if he does not come with one.

Jason is their any Easter egg on the ME-262 or any last minuet changes other then the cockpit?
